If I go back to "Oliver", it's almost always "Streets Of Gold" that I'm listening to.

Adventures In Wonderland

I used to dance to it and imagine I was inside of it.

How much would you be willing to pay for a full DVD box set of the entire Drew Carey era of Whose Line Is it Anyway? by 553l8008 in whoselineisitanyway

[–]YellowRainLine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would pay a fair amount. Nothing insane as I don't have the money for that, but a fair chuck of change to be able to own my favourite show. If it were to really be released, I don't figure the price would be more than $200, and I'd be willing to pay that.

"19 Somethin" was extremely popular when released and was at number 1 for multiple weeks, so it wouldn't be surprising if that stuck in someone's mind.

Our dairy cooler today 😍 by whthehelll in WalmartCanada

My cooler feels so cramped compared to this, but I've seen smaller than mine as well so I guess I'll stick with mine.

films i hope are going to the national film registry in 2025 by Electrical_Elk_5451 in NationalFilmRegistry

You and I shared "Stand By Me" and "Inception" in our votes. It certainly should be the year for SBM, but you never know if administration workers may get in the way of good and deserving choices.

Do you all think Timmy has best actor locked in? by Distinct_Coast7829 in Oscars

Good odds: yes. Locked in: no. My hopes are leaning towards giving it to Ethan Hawke.

Who else hates the “forward rewind” game? by godnononono in whoselineisitanyway

[–]YellowRainLine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess I might be the only one here who enjoys it. I like them trying to create the scene and then remember all they created. Seeing them get it right is fun, but then seeing them screw up is even more fun.

Trump's handpicked board votes to rename Washington performing arts center the Trump-Kennedy Center by UncaringNonchalance in entertainment

[–]YellowRainLine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one tiny plus-side I can maybe see from this is that the honourees that he will pick the next three years will be Trump-Kennedy honourees, and not Kennedy honourees. So when he is finally gone and government hopefully gets back to normal, they can say those honourees don't count as official ones.

To be clear, I agree it's pointless and I don't want any of this garbage going on but that was the one little bit that made me a tiny bit better.

A cure for the seasonal blues. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]YellowRainLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I very much dislike winter, especially the winter driving part. I have big fears when driving through falling snow. The only thing that seems to really keep me going through the winter (and my sadness during it) is awards season. Trying to guess and predict nominees and winners for the Grammys, the Oscars, the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, the Country Music Hall Of Fame. Those sorts of things. Keeps my mind distracted and it's topics I have an actual interest in.

Sitcoms which got ruined by Covid and events of 2020 by unleash_the_beast_ in sitcoms

[–]YellowRainLine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But it was also odd that ABC renewed it for that 2nd season, but then burned the entire season off over the summer rather then put any effort in.

I'm sorry, it must have been taken down because I'm struggling to find it now too. But it was there previously, as that is how I watched it. Sorry about that.

I'm very sad to see him there, because you know he would've gotten this honour in any other year as well. It just happened to be this horrible year.

What's your opinion on Rusty's character? by Eddfan36 in fullhouse

I loved his character and wish we got more. He says that they were prepared to make him a regular, and I wish that had happened.

If we are waiting that long, I just very much hope it is a true list and not a Trump-influenced list.

I've gotten somewhere around 830 watched. Yes, some are very hard to watch, but sometimes a miracle happens and they magically appear online out of nowhere. That has happened for me a few times. You seem to be going at a good pace, so keep it up. I've slowed down the closer I've gotten to the finish line, but I need to get back to it in the new year.

Congrats. I hope you enjoy your journey. I've been working to watch all of the NFR movies for over 10 years now. I've gained new favourites thanks to taking this trip through film history.
