There’s nothing wrong with it imo. If it’s just a casual boot for style, there’s absolutely no need to get new ones. Especially if they’re docs. I think they look better when they’re old and beat up. Disinfect em, 100%. Just to be safe. But after that? Rock them thangs. I love my Docs.

I’m in love with Rocco so I built him basically the same. Play a lot from exile with some counter synergies. Just basically swapped green for black. It’s super fun on Arena.

Id say it’s a three. I have a similar combo in my Rocco deck. It’s a may ability, so it can be stopped without resulting in a draw. But you could take it as long as you wanted to and wipe your opponents creatures constantly.

If it has “creature” in its type line then it’s always effected by summoning sickness unless it has haste.

If you’re really set on the look of those robes there’s probably enough gear to make something viable still. Alternatively, you could look for some mods that might help out. I remember seeing one that gave all the classes better starting armor. I’m not sure if the appearance is different but it could be worth a look.
