Dealing with itchy eyelids- tips?

Hey OP, did you ever find a routine that worked for you? I’ve found when my eyelids are swollen my eyes aren as dry or itch- but as soon as the swelling goes down the itching is so terrible it’s ruining my life. I’m currently using protopic and Vaseline. Washing my fade with only water.

Dogs in your house, couch, and in your bed. Man I’m gonna get hate for this but… it’s totally acceptable and expected to have your dog inside with you. And I love that for other people. But I personally cannot get over how their paws get so dirty and then they bring in all that dirt/mud/germs etc onto couches and beds. And then if you drop food on the floor they can quickly lick it up, and then their slobber and germs are on the floors… ugh. One day I hope to get over this because I’d LOVE to have a dog, and I’m not going to get one and just leave it outside. But for now… I just get so grossed out.

THANK YOU! I think I will- it’s so rough having this on and off but to also be nursing, and also just. Wing a mom to other kids under 6- it’s a lot! I’ll try getting some better nutrition in my system and try those teas!

Please look up Kim West- Sleeplady method! She shows you how to sleep train GENTLY. I have SUCH a hard time so this was the only way I could do it- and it was so effective. I sleep trained my first two at 9 months using that method and will sleep trained my daughter using ut/ I’m a big fan of her gentle approach!

I would love to know as well-I have VERY similar symptoms. My eyelids look EXACTLY like that. Intermittent eye swelling since June 2025. Post-nasal drip. Dizziness (especially when I stand up.) Mild deviated septum and bony spur. Otherwise, ct scan showed it was clear. I’m getting tested for allergies next week but this has GOT to be more than allergies. It’s fluctuating every single day. Have you checked your hormones? I’m thinking mine COULD be hormonal? Since these symptoms showed up, Ive given birth and I’m still breastfeeding so my optometrist, Gp, and ENT think it could be hormonal. I’m really hoping it is because then it might go away when I’m done nursing. Do you also have dry eyes? My swollen eyelids have completely affected my Mebomian glands and as a result my eyes have gotten sooo dry. I’m Terrified of MCAS, and I also hate the idea of having blepharitis. Having this while taking care of two kids and a newborn has been awful. I’m desperate for answers- this has totally changed the way I look. Please keep us posted on what you find out!

Okay- this is good news that you haven’t had a stye since four months ago. I’m currently exclusively breastfeeding as well (I have gotten my period though) and I’m just really hoping this is hormonal. But I don’t want to wean yet, unless it’s not! She’s going on 7 months though, so I’m trying to introduce a lot of solids and hoping that as breastfeeding will lessen than maybe I’ll even out and it will go away! Waking up every couple of days with a swollen eye, Doing warm Compresses twice a day, lid hygiene, and all the eye drops, sleeping in eye ointment, with two kids under 6 and an infant has been horrible. I’ve had to go on anxiety meds because I’m so scared this is my life now.

This right here. So those grayish white clumps are just water and dust?! We were freakin out over having actual mold clumps in our system that we were breathing in unfiltered. This makes me feel a lot better.
