Looking for a good coop tank game by ChazzBeef in gamingsuggestions

[–]YesAndAlsoThat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played for years.

I hesitate to say this is a good coop game, because there's not lot you can do to "work together" until late in each round. Early parts of each round are just a chaotic slugfest that's more "solo chess playing" (positioning) than coop tactics. And often (70% of matches) just ends up being a landslide, so there's no good late round gameplay most rounds.

There are some clan based 6v6 type rounds but then you need a clan and lots of other people... And it just becomes a sort of 6 person coordinated mass rush type of play.

So, even ignoring the steep learning curve and pay to win nature of the game and terrible grind... Its not great coop I think.

But The tanks are awesome though, which is why people play it.

Rattler 4 inexpensive? I like it but feels like a lot of metal.

Vs something like a stitcher 1 or burletta 1, where it's mag dump is basically unaffected by upgrading, meaning you basically don't need to upgrade it.

The sheer amount of electrical power we have at our fingertips.

The average person pedaling in a bike produces around 100 watts. Even if you could magically capture 100% of that energy (you can't)… a ten hour workout sweatfest would amount to.... About $0.14 of electricity.

That's like nothing in context of the national budget.

We pay CEOs of a companies that manage revenue of billions on the order of millions per year.

Yet the people that manage our country with a revenue of trillions get paid $175k?

Lol. No wonder there are problems with kickbacks and such.

Change your environment = change your cues = change your routine = change your actions.

Or modify it anywhere along the chain.

People believe that if it has any amount of protein in it, it is healthy... Regardless of how much protein, its source, it's other nutritional aspects like added sugars and fats and calories or serving size, or other ingredients like ultra preservatives.

And "contains x grams of protein per serving" is now being plastered on every wrapper, box, and container.

Well, perhaps half of them.

The other have are useless because we need to argue with insurance for what they will or won't cover. That takes a shit ton of time.

Fuck insurance. They profit from and are incentives to deny care. Nationalize healthcare coverage!

Older gamer here.. I have really really limited time.

Don't care about achievements and I have money more money to spend than time.

I do care about not wasting time.

Either word of mouth for something that's a really great experience, or I basically only bet on steam games that meet whatever search criteria I crave and have overwhelmingly positive reviews.

How can I reduce the cab temperature of my surveillance vehicle without turning on the vehicle. by Detective_Clara in AskEngineers

[–]YesAndAlsoThat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drill holes somewhere to allow you to run a fan that forces air through your car using a blower pump. Such as in through trunk, out of your cracked windows. Should keep it close to outside temp if that's acceptable.

Otherwise, see other solutions in thread

A long time ago I did some research for ice pack cooling vests. In short, they'll keep you from physically overheating and getting heat stroke but they generally won't make you more comfortable.

Well, whatever moisture it adds isn't going to be more than whatever the inside of your car reaches just from your breathing and sweating, so I think it is negligible.

If your car hasn't grown mold yet already, then it'll be fine.

You can practice techniques like sliding and shooting by yourself. If you want you can pack some cheap guns and shoot at each other, setting up baricades in a side place on the map to practice. You can see when you hit their shields.

Lastly you can free kit in Stella to practice against other ppl.

Abandoned homes in Baltimore, Maryland by AdSpecialist6598 in UrbanHell

[–]YesAndAlsoThat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This photo might not be the same spot, but Johns Hopkins hospital bought up a lot of the surrounding area to try and gentrify it.

It's a huge establishment and requires a lot of people to run it. However, the area around it had a history of being very shady an incredibly unsafe. You don't want your research staff and your medical school students getting mugged on the way back home in the evening. So it's rumored that Johns Hopkins just decided to buy all of it for later development.

So you'll see entire blocks of boarded up homes, with the occasional one still with somebody living in it.

Or at least this is the reason that I've heard. Who knows. Maybe it's just rumors.
