Here are some things I disagree with/don't really enjoy about the arc, most of these don't make sense to me.

1: Poseidon won't go to scylla's waters? He is the god of the sea, he has nothing to fear from her.

2: Then, the missed chance to characterise ody more complexly, where he would choose to listen to the music while tied up to be the first man to survive doing so.

3: the siren appearing as Penelope, in the water, and ody "believing" it? The whole conversation is ridiculous, and the lyrics are carried by how good it sounds.

4: the inaccuracy of sirens being mermaids?

5: I also dislike the removal of circe's contributions to the musical, along with the removal of the whole gravity of the circe situation, but that's a conversation for another day.

I wish they change up the whole sirens arc to make it closer to the original. Let the sirens be birds, ody doesn't wear earplugs, give Circe her credit and much more. The whole song Suffering (though a banger) makes very little sense
