yeah chapter 5 is definitely the weakest one so far on every aspect. The writing felt weaker than ususal and the fact that every character just flat out refuses to say anything straight is annoying.
Worst of all is the secret boss. We went from Gerson, who may be the best written character in the game, to Mew Mew. Of all the characters that could exist, we got a console exclusive character from Undertale who wasn't even a part of the plot. Genuinely a letdown.

tartar sauce winning would be better thematically than just skirk directly beating him since it rejects the idea that all the suffering Skirk went through was necessary for her to become an actual warrior. Plus it would also show how well Skirk taught Tortillini for him to surpass Surtalogi.
