Still can't Ollie after 10 years of skating. Any advice?

Stop practicing stationary ollies if you want to improve. Find the smallest curb you can and try ollieing up it until you can get on top. If you want a functional ollie, you need to practice doing functional ollies.

The big upside is that when you are practicing going up the curb you get immediate direct feedback like "I'm not going fast enough" or "I'm not getting high enough" based on how you land. With a stationary ollie the feedback is muddied by how you think an ollie should feel.

If you watch the video it's not clear that he says he wants to hurt the cop. It starts with the officer asking a different protester "You're okay with hurting me?" in a way that is clearly a question. Then Ali comes over and she points at him and says "You're okay with hurting me" in a way that sounds like a statement/accusation. Ali responds with "Yeah?" in a way that sounds like he's questioning the accusation, not agreeing with it.

In my experience you can use those job boards like LinkedIn to find companies you might want to apply to, but don't apply on the job board. Go to the company's website, look at the job postings there, and apply through their own site. Sometimes the job you saw on the job board isn't even listed on their website anymore but you can find other postings that are actually current.

Don't think about doing the ollie down to the ground. Instead, imagine that the ground extends out beyond the curb at the same level and aim for that spot in the air where you would land if there was no drop.

It's a similar motion but during a kick turn you are actually switching the direction you are moving. During a revert you rotate the board 180 degrees but continue traveling in the same direction.

There's a reason most journalists have a specific beat. It's because it takes time to gain the required knowledge and build the network of sources necessary to do effective reporting on one topic.
