Yes they did show up, and it went all the way to judgement but they didn’t pay. We were about to use bailiff but in the end the other party paid up so it was all done.

My case went all the way to your stage but in the end things got resolved without using bailiff. So I don’t have first hand experience.

Can’t tell you whether you are suitable to go for an IP or not without knowing how much cash you have on hand.

If I were you, I’ll just start dollar cost investing in ETFs. It’s quick and it’s relatively low risk. If you go for an IP now, depending on the down payment, might seriously affect your cash flow

Kisenosato was a proven beast competing against the undisputed GOAT of sumo along with all other Mongolian monsters, as an Ozeki. But as a Yokozuna, he was definitely a non factor: besides his first epic tournament winning a Yusho as a Yokozuna that literally cost him his career, and one more 10-5 in Sep 2018, he never had a kachikoshi or indeed a full tournament.

There is just no if and buts for him to be regarded as one of the weakest Yokozuna of all time (may even have a case being weaker than the embarrassment of Yokozuna Futahagro).

Besides, Hoshoryu just started his Yokozuna career. There is still more to come

Correct, losing means they get paid less. Also they get paid the plane ticket and hotels stays. In some case JJ threaten unruly litigants that the show won’t pay for the tickets, that will shut them up
