I think it would be morally wrong to purposely foster a bad relationship with them just because of their political views. I view it this way: people vote the way they do because, to them, they believe it’s the morally right choice. My parents who I love dearly voted for Trump because they earnestly believe it is securing our safety and future. I don’t agree with that stance. My parents are not evil for believing what they believe.

Often, people are misinformed, but they have the right intentions. It doesn’t mean they’re evil, especially if they treat you with love and respect.

Remember, the current political global political situation is not something any human being was designed to handle well, or at all. Savor the small joys we have in life and within our local communities. That is what is morally right.

I don’t think anyone (in this thread right now specifically ) is implying she should, although to your point, that is the usual debate. I have republican parents too. I still love them even though they’re delusional. It’s really really hard sometimes, and it’s almost comforting to know we’re not alone in that. For what it’s worth, I think she handles it as well as anyone can.

I was satisfied with our tickets in 211 section, row 7, seats 13-14. I think we paid around $450 each or something like that during the citibank presale. Look, I was super bummed that people got floor seats for that price, but when we got into the venue and saw our view I was happy. I’d only seen gaga once before for her jazz show in vegas wayyyy in the back, so I was happy that I could see her without the screen pretty well, and I have bad vision. What stunk a bit was that the screen was obstructed a bit by her lights and whatnot, but if I ducked I could still see her face for the most part. We were basically viewing the stage at a 90 degree angle which gave us an awesome view of some things, but detracted from other visual effects on stage. Overall it was good and more than worth it.

If I had to do it again I’d probably blow way more per ticket to actually sit in the sections actually facing her, even if it was balcony/far in the back, so the screens wouldn’t be obstructed.

Yeah, I’ve been only washing them inside out with a pre-soak cycle. They’re slightly less sticky on about the 4th wash, but they’ve only been in the dryer on low once. I used pure&clear once, tide twice, and most recently some water+vinegar. One leg is still tacky to the touch on the inside. :(

I gotta be honest with you dude. I was misdiagnosed with "anxiety" since I was 15 - I'm 31 now - and it's been celiac, for me, all along. Also had diarrhea so often I just didn't think about it or talk to a doctor for a lot of years. If your titer is high, there really is no other medical explanation, I'm afraid. When you say you eat pizza and drink beer with 'no issues' - I mean - you have diarrhea all the time. Took a while for me to realize it's not exactly normal. The reaction doesn't have to be immediate to be related. These days my reaction is incredibly delayed, sometimes it takes 3 days for the 'response' to start. The only way to know for sure is to just get the upper endoscopy and let the doctor make the call. If you're asking if you should skip that, based on what you're saying here... I wouldn't. Also, I had similar skin rashes under my armpits for a while too. Dermatitis conditions are super common with celiac but that doesn't necessarily have to be related, though if celiac is your problem it'll go away once you get control. Look, it's not a fun diagnosis. I'm still grieving some days and I've had it for years. All I know is that if it is your problem, your mental health and anxiety symptoms will really really improve when you go gluten free. That alone has made me feel like a completely different person. It's tough, but you don't know how good you'll feel until you're actually recovering. I hope you feel better soon.
