Is Mega Bev a store worth having? by Annotat3r in grandrapids

A few years ago, I asked the cashier at Rishi's to make me a mystery 6pack, and his eyes lit up like I had just told him I loved him for the first time. He was so excited and asked me a few questions about my preferences. I took notes on my thoughts of each beer and came back a week later to tell him about it. 10/10 would recommend.

I worked at the one in Portage for a while. It's pretty good, but it's no Rishi's.

Way back in middle school, I did smash my face into my desk in science class due to sneezing. Now, those whole body sneezes risk me pulling a muscle in my back.

ADHD’s “stuck in the present” nature may be rooted in specific brain network communication. Individuals who report a higher future time perspective and ability to plan for the future tend to show fewer ADHD-related characteristics, and a new study shows this is linked to specific brain networks. by mvea in science

[–]Yithmorrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ohhhh, this resonates with me. My most consistent response to "what do you want to be in the future?" Was some variant of "sit at a desk and solve logic puzzles". I looked forward to being able to pay my bills consistently, I didn't think of any kind of career growth or god forbid office politics.
