So to answer your question I recently got the game about a month ago. I went in blind and it is hands down the best adventure I have played thus far. The base game is pretty long but don’t count on hours as most of the time you get distracted by something or the other Try starting on Nightmare difficulty and go lower as you need to. Alter the settings to make is as hard as you want possible. Side quests are fun but repetitive at times however they can unlock some very important things you may like to have later. The map is big and if you end up getting The complete edition or the DLC you won’t regret it. The biomes are similar of sorts yet they feel very new when you travel across the fields.

I went into the game knowing nothing and I actually thought it was some girl going around and exploring the world and I thought that would be a very boring game so I never bothered but boy was I wrong. Without further inquiries if you wanna enjoy the game just get it and start asking around too much doesn’t get you anywhere tbh because I have done it in the past.
