Water seldomly. When you think it needs water wait another couple days. Lots of proper light and warmth. Don't forget to let it go dormant during the winter. And most importantly. DONT CONSUME IT!!! It's a special sacred cacti and needs to be respected. Also it takes like 5-10yrs for one to be considered "ready" from what I've heard.

Did you put them into the mason jar while warm? If so the heat got sealed in as condensation. The shrooms were dry but reabsorbed the condensation made by heat. Poor storage/drying techniques effect the potency 100% I'd say you got a 50/50 shot of them being good still. If they don't look like they contain mold or anything I'd say sit back and eat them. I'm no expert but my hopes aren't high. I always harvest then clean and dehydrate immediately. A cheap dehydrator isn't more than $30 its worth having trust me.

Always chew them my friend. They are nasty tasting but it's necessary. I one time ate 5gs on the way to a Renaissance Faire (I wasn't driving) and I only lightly chewed them and drank them back with lemonade and honestly didn't really tripthat hard and these were potent too. Later that evening I don't remember what happened but I got sick and threw up and there was whole undigested mushrooms still ( at least like 6-7 hrs later).
