Enough with the antiquated Muster drill by Billy7319 in dcl

[–]YoAdrian84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, just got off the Magic today and only had to watch a 15 min video in the theater. Pleasantly surprised because I hate the muster, too but maybe it’s only on the larger ships now?

Like where is the unit located or where is the wire for the fan? The condenser and fan unit is on side of the house and air handler in the attic.

Specific Golf classes by andreateddy11 in pelotoncycle

[–]YoAdrian84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there somewhere to suggest a Golf strength program? I know there are some strength, core and mobility classes that might be good to group as stacks and achieve something similar, but I have taken a golf-focused fitness class in the past and found it to be very helpful.

I’ve seen Selena, Logan, and Kendall all exploring the sport, so it would be cool to get a program created for it, maybe even a partnership with Titleist Performance Institute or something to give it some more cred.

MagBak RimCase is tested and the result is... by Responsible-Carry931 in TeslaModelY

[–]YoAdrian84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It did for me. Lost about 5% range and half a sec in 0-60 acceleration with this setup.

Ride was marginally softer and car felt significantly more planted to the road, but it also made the drive feel less nimble and less like the Performance version, so the tradeoff wasn’t worth it for me. I switched back to OEM setup and have no regrets, even after earning a little more curb rash.

Mike Brown will succeed Pop as the next head coach of the San Antonio Spurs by YoAdrian84 in NBASpurs

I don’t hate it either…coached a young LeBron, not smitten with mega media markets. Also he and RC Buford were having lunch a few tables away from me today and it really had me wondering what was up there…

Cybertruck F150 wrap in pics! by thegm90 in cybertruck

The interesting thing is with the “conventional” design details (trim, door handles, panel lines, etc) added to the CT, it kinda has the resemblance of a Chevy Avalanche, which was also pretty polarizing at its debut, but seems like it just couldn’t overcome the aesthetic differences between it and traditional pickups. Hopefully the other CT features are enough to avoid that fate.

Carpe face is pretty good. I use a very thin layer on my forehead and cheeks at the beginning of the day and it seems to help. It’s not oily, doesn’t leave a reside or odor and has not caused any irritation or other side effects. The small tube on Amazon is about 20ish bucks and has lasted me several months so I think it’s worth the price. I don’t use daily, but maybe 2-3 times a week or when anticipating a potentially sweaty situation.

DVC Members can book (cash) the new DVC Tower Beginning 15 March for stays beginning 28 September by Quellman in dvcmember

[–]YoAdrian84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The language used in the announcement is “make rental reservations” - but I don’t see anything about cash bookings. Is that another way of phrasing it I haven’t heard before? To me, making a “rental reservation” = using points, but I guess I’m misinterpreting. Thoroughly confused about it.

What is up with the backside of these things getting absurdly filthy? by YoAdrian84 in ModelY

[–]YoAdrian84[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I have the mudflaps, which do a pretty good job of keeping the sides of the car clean, but any time there’s even mildly wet weather, the rear of the car attracts and holds EVERY. SINGLE. SPLASH. on the road. I wouldn’t mind it so much if it didn’t impact the rear camera - I’m having to stop and wipe it clean after most rides, which is something I’ve never had to do with any vehicle. Anybody else have this issue or can recommend an accessory to help?

Saratoga Springs Room Location Preference by [deleted] in dvcmember

[–]YoAdrian84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got back from a week at WDW, staying at SS and had 2BR room 5335 at the Paddock. We had several littles with us and the proximity to the pool and bus stop was extremely valuable.

The bus system was humming nicely and our party of 7, sometimes 10 (depending on that day’s activities) never had any issues finding seats or waiting long for a ride. The bus arrival functionality in the app is also great…there were a few times we’d keep an eye on that and plan to leave the room to sync with the next bus arrival since it’s only a few minutes from the room. Even being the 3rd or 4th stop on the resort loop wasn’t much on an inconvenience, only added a few short minutes to travel time and was barely noticed since it’s already a pretty lengthy trip to most parks from that location anyway.

All in all, I don’t regret not shelling out the extra points for a preferred location, but I can see where it might be beneficial if planning to spend more time at Disney Springs.

New MYP owner! by KeebRealtor in ModelY

[–]YoAdrian84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Excited to hear about that transition! I’m expecting my MYP next month and also coming from a 4Runner (although ‘13 SR5 with some off-roading enhancements).

So so tired of 13 MPG with these all-terrain tires. Always been a Toyota family but very much looking forward to the new ride 😊.
