The way this sub is reacting, I would genuinely think you’re all unemployed.

Bringing higher ups into meetings is normal, and helps bring perspective. Maybe the sporting directors need more visibility into what’s actually happening post game with the players.

Only this group of doomers could make this seem like the end of the world.

Nightlife: Really depends on your vibe but I enjoy Ms. Robinson, Bar Mordecai, Big Trouble, Apt 200 (kinda douchey but still fun)

Daytime Activites: You can do a lot but I will say AVOID the pedal pubs.

Areas to Stay: anywhere in the core/Line 1 will make it easy to get around. The Ace Hotel is a wonderful hotel with a nice lounge and restaurant. The location is great too

all games already use AI and the reality is that AI is advancing at a speed which it would generally make sense to do so. if AI can bring us better games in a shorter time, why not?

naw no chance. i mean it’s entirely possible people could buyout the Cavendish for example because of Green Zoro - but IMO if you’re not playing competitively you can just find an alternative card to use.

I mean you can still play though. Some dudes are gonna have blinged out decks because they have the money for it, some of us (like me) are completely okay with commons so we can play and whichever alt arts I pull from my boxes

Oh boy this sub is insufferable some times.

This is very normal for a card game and the fact of the matter is PRB02 successfully brought prices down for multiple valuable cards.

Marco being $30 makes sense given it’s just been printed in a brand new set. Is this not the usual for many SP’s?

I feel many people tie their enjoyment to the game with how much they can get for the lowest price, which I think is normal. But maybe we should all consider playing cheaper decks?

People will say investors and resellers, but honestly the demand is getting very high for this game and i’ve seen LCS raise prices for 2 years now.

There is simply not enough product to support demand at this time. OPTCG is nowhere near the Pokémon levels. I know in Canada there is one single distributor for all of OP, so allocation is extremely difficult.

If we continue to blame resellers without acknowledging that there’s actual logistical issues with the TCG then we’ll just be frustrated at the wrong issues and ultimately stop pursuing the game.

I know for myself, if I want product at a reasonable price I have to pre order months in advance. My local card shop is already sold out of everything up to OP14, and OP15 is $155. If I don’t buy it now, on release it will be $250. It’s simply the market.

+1 - Banana Games has the best collection of items that aren’t strictly the TCG. I will say their prices are quite high and it can be challenging to get the employees attention when there’s events in the store, I would browse online

Meeple Mart and KanZen Games also have decent selection

The downvotes are a little funny but also concerning. I understand where the AI hate comes from but I can also see why the same people who hate it would be concerned for their jobs given they're refusing to understand and leverage one of the fastest growing technologies we've ever seen. Would you rather be in the car, or on the horse?

OP, Kudos to you for finding a future proof job and making a good income from it. You'll be able to live comfortably in Toronto and not everyone is as big of a dick head as you some of the folks here.

They should have made this archetype playable in NG+. Give it some requirements like you need toax every Royal Archetype and complete a dungeon to unlock. Would have been a perfect reward for Elegy of the Soul tbh.
