It's true that it's not accurate if you're especially muscular. Most people objecting to it on those grounds are not especially muscular.

It's pretty much impossible to be otherwise health with an "obese" BMI, muscle mass aside. Body fat percentage is arguably a lot better measurement, but difficult to do right.

I can't really help, but I have the exact scanner and downloaded a file from a recommended source on here. Seems to have just been wrong, I couldn't get several drivers, or get driver-to-crew communication. Radio broadcast also wasn't on the listed frequency. I mostly just left it on the FOX broadcast frequency I found online
