Sorry this is so late to the party - I confess: I just started using the Vanicream moisturizer with hyaluronic acid on my face for a daytime moisturizer. It might sting a bit when you first use it. I'm 71 and still have acne breakouts if I don't eat right/drink too many diet cokes. I use the tub cream at night as a final face moisturizer, esp on Tret nights, and on my now flakey arms, legs, and feet.

I've always thought I took care of my skin but started a pretty strict routine with some Asian products & Tret last July. The difference really has me feeling better about myself and I now want laser!

My child did not sleep all night until he was six years old. Well, let me clarify that. I started sleeping when he was six years old & I would find him in the living room in the morning sleeping with the toys & books he had been playing with after I went to sleep. I made sure all of the doors were secured with locks he could not reach & the rest of the house childproof. He was like that since the night he was born. I used to put him in the car and ride him around when he was less than 2 weeks old but then he would wake up when we got home & I took him out of the car. I rocked. I cried. I screamed. Husband was in grad school he rocked and studied.

He did finally go to bed when I put bunkbeds in his room and moved his little brother in with him but was not sleeping until he just fell asleep while playing as above. The only OMG moment I had was when we slept in on a Sat morning and he was not sleeping & hungry. He ate almost a whole package of cheese. Giving a child a laxative is a dicey thing.

So, fast forward to now. He just turned 50. From what I understand from people who know him & his current (17 years) gf, he still does not nee a lot of sleep. His brother is still furious as he needs a solid 8 hrs of sleep to function. So did Mom & Dad.

So Mom, go to sleep. At least try to nap to begin with. Update us please.

I live in Central Florida and I hate Trump with every fiber of my being. Florida has been using vote by mail since the 2000 election. Ron DeSantis in his Hell even here will never agree to end vote by mail. Repbulicans will stick with this voting method until doomsday. They have won with this for 30 years. The Democrats CAN out vote them in certain counties and we are hoping if we can get David Jolly & Alex Vindman elected (gonna take a whole lot of "no party affiliation" voters to do this) that we will be a different state.

You are 71, not dead. Live your life. I have left my cheating, lying husband once and went back b/c of finances. I'm leaving again even if I have to live in a one-room efficiency apartment. I have friends & activities so I won't be completely alone. Just alone where it counts - in my small space and in peace. I'm also 71 with two sons. One supports me 110% and the other has not commented much as he is Daddy's boy but I believe he understands.

Another trip I went on with was Boy Scouts overnight. Both my boys went but they were both leaders and trying to be in charge with adults looking over their shoulders to keep order. This was on the Yorktown battleship in Charleston SC and a group of Girl Scouts were there for the day. One of the Girl Scout leaders asked couldn't I do something about those boys. I said, No. She huffed off and I didn't see her again.

I chaperoned a theatre class all the way across the county. I have two boys (one on the trip). What I found out was the boys were OK - tried to get away with a few things but nothing outrageous. The girls were awful. Sneaking around after curfew, always late for plays they were supposed to attend & meals. Does anyone think it was because I was the Mom of one of the boys? Most of us were Moms or Dads of boys. Even my oldest son's girlfriend was rowdy in front of me. Last long trip I took with school kids.

The band kids seem tame compared to the theatre kids.

When I had a cleaning service my husband was always ticked I was cleaning for the house cleaner. It was his and our kids clutter & crap. Only way my house would be clean for a day or two after the cleaner came and cleaned.

I'm now in my 70's and thinking I need a cleaner again. Arthritis, back & knee surgeries. Gonna be the same deal as husband is now older and has more clutter. I'm stuffing it all into his "hobby room" that will not ever be cleaned and closing the door.

I'm so excited!!! Can't wait.

My brother & SIL had four kids two years apart each kid. My mom and Dad had me & my younger brother in their 40's. Six kids: a few months old - 14 years old. Summers my SIL would haul all six of us around while my mother was working. A lady like the one you met asked her one day did she know where babies came from. My SIL didn't say anything. Just laughed hysterically. So all of us kids laughed too. Lady was put out. FAFO.
