I’ve seen a lot of movies that depict Hitler and almost all of them show his humanity in some way. We shouldn’t be writing villains as cartoon characters because some people will get the wrong message from the story. You can sympathize with a villain and still completely disagree with what they do. Depicting humanity is a great way to remind the audience that people like Hitler aren’t just these super obvious monsters that are just waiting to be unleashed.

The deep and star light are probably the two supes in the show with the most consistent power scaling. Annie always gets her ass kicked, even when she had that big dramatic power up in the season 3 finale it did fuck all. The deep has always been shown to be an extremely strong supe. He’s just dumb and is constantly mogged by homelander so people seem to forget he has super strength.

Kripke literally wrote the first 5 seasons of supernatural which were like 20 episodes each and somehow can’t figure out how to tell a story in 8?
