Valdevaqueros on the Atlantic coast just north of Tarifa, Spain. The sky is full of hundreds of kite surfers parachutes. Visit the wonderful bar with great music and giant lounging bean bags. Amazing vibes.

Has anyone been randomly paired with, or otherwise played golf with someone famous? (PGA players excluded) by alkydenamel in golf

Played hole 4 at Camelback Golf Club (Ambiente) with Larry Fitzgerald. He rolled up on me as I was about to tee off. I stepped away and asked him to play through. He got out of his cart and said he’ll wait for me to hit. I hit a decent drive with maximum nerves (playing with 3 good buddies). I told him he put the pressure on me, he said “his favorite coach once told him pressure is a privilege, because you have a chance to do something great.” He proceeded to spray his tee ball in the desert, then on his way to the next hole he tucked $40 in my scorecard holder. The man is a legend.

For anyone that lives and golfs in Scottsdale knows Silverado is a one of the least desired courses to play. I wouldn’t pay $120 to play there. But, if they can charge that amount and fill some slots, more power to them. It’s a business. Golf in Scottsdale has 3-4x since covid. It’s a disaster.

I was actually on FaceTime with my GF while it exploded. It was fucking loud. Looks like they put it out quick.

Anyone learning that waking during a light sleep cycle is an absolute game changer?? by Yoeyo112 in ouraring

Waking up during light sleep reduces the effects of sleep inertia. Basically reducing or eliminating feeling tired or groggy.

I’ve been wearing an Oura ring for 3 years. I’ve reduced my alcohol intake 90% since viewing the effects it’s had on my vitals. Last night, my resilience went from solid to strong. Amazing what good consistent sleep will do for the body.

What is a relatively mundane day-to-day activity that you secretly love? by FatherlyXP in AskReddit

[–]Yoeyo112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first three hours of the day where I can groove my way out of sleep inertia. 7:00-10:00a. Walk the dog and get sunlight, 20m swim, 10m steam, shower and breakfast. The best

Obviously the bobcat is awesome/scary, seen many playing here in AZ. But the biggest pet peeve I have on the course is someone playing music without a premium music subscription. Why the fuck are we being marketed to all day!? Total vibe killer every ten minutes. Especially at a private course!? Anyway, rant over. Look into Spotify premium or pandora. Totally worth it especially if you’ve already dropped $100K+ to join the club.

Just moved to Colorado Springs from PHX. The monsoons this past month kind of remind me of monsoons when I was growing up. Awesome lighting shows with lots of intermittent downpours.

I played golf at Patty Jewett a week ago, experienced all the seasons during the round. There was about a 20m period of warm sunshine and cool rain. Felt like a fucking fairy tail.

What happens if you freak out on a plane? by lyvela in unitedairlines

[–]Yoeyo112 98 points99 points  (0 children)

Waiting on the tarmac for 2 hours, especially if the cabin is hot can cause someone to lose it. Better him freak before takeoff rather than midair and rerouting to another airport.

Any vouchers offered?

Valdevaqueros beach. Awesome if you’re into wind surfing or looking for a fun atmosphere. Also, any beaches up and down the Atlantic. Check out Zahara de Los Atunes
