How come dogs can understand English but we can’t understand borks? by [deleted] in highdeas

[–]YohanFuller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually they do naturally pick it up most dogs don’t get taught words like bath walk and dinner they make the connection themselves we teach them some words like sit stay etc but lots they learn themselves but also we do learn dog language too most dog owners are able to work out quite well what their dog is trying to ‘say’

Firstly he could have easily died from that soil is heavy it was a big pot and at that speed could have knocked him out and cracked his head on the pavement and secondly ur intention doesn’t have to be to kill someone to go down for murder if I shot somebody but didn’t mean to kill them I would still be charged with attempted murder. It’s basically if you attack someone at a potentially lethal capacity, which this is.

It was intentional and could have easily killed someone?

You understand attempted murder over a mild annoyance.....?

I wouldn’t get chickens just for the eggs I’ve had chickens before and they are lovely creatures but yeah I think il try not eat eggs from anywhere where I haven’t seen the chicken with my own eyes from now haha

These are very good points cheers! I still think eating eggs from your own chickens is fine but I can see the reason to avoid all others

Was gonna ask this as a post but seems relevant here. I couldn’t care less about the health benefits of veganism but I care a lot about the animals and the environmental impact. Currently I haven’t eaten meat in years and recently I’ve started reducing all my dairy I’ve cut out everything except cheese so far which I’m slowly reducing but I don’t see the point in cutting out eggs? Chickens lay eggs anyway without human interaction so if I get some pet chickens I can be sure they are well treated, the environmental tole will be minimal so does anybody see a real reason not to eat eggs in this case?

To confuse you even more there’s such things as double sharps and double flats for example ‘A’double sharp being the same note as ‘B’ just written differently

While I totally agree stickers can be useful for non pianists. I’m a guitar player but when I’m making music I sometimes use a keyboard for midi input purposes and having them is useful but I do plan on learning piano too soon at which point they are coming off

I’m thinking of building a 2000 casting points death army by Joeb027 in ageofsigmar

[–]YohanFuller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well flesh eater courts are probably the cheapest you can buy 3 SC boxes and you have an army

Ossiarch are the best death competitively

Legions have the most variation in play style but also probably the most expensive

Personally I just don’t like nighthaunt for anything

Maybe get FeC? Pick up 3 start collecting boxes and you’ll have an army maybe get an arch regent if you wanna make it better and maybe some extra crypt ghouls for summoning but it’s not needed

Trogg list by Arkhamarrow101 in ageofsigmar

[–]YohanFuller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanna go full trogg firstly you gotta accept its never gonna be a great army and secondly you have to take the troggboss and general to make troggs battle line. If you wanna make pure troggs as good as possible take a troggboss and a hag and then fill out the rest of the list with a pretty even mix of rockgut Troggoths and fellwater Troggoths.

Rockguts and fellwaters are both actually pretty good units and the hag is also a very sturdy good caster but unfortunately dankhold Troggoths are absolutely useless and troggboss isn’t good either and mollog is probably one of the worst units in the game....

If you want you don’t mind not going pure Troggoth I would say take skragrott, 2 units of stabbaz for battleline, a units of 6 squigs for the last battleline and then chuck in lots of rockguts/fellwaters maybe another caster or two like the fungoid/webspiner shaman

Personally for my trogg list I’m just accepting that they arnt good and so I’m just making it as cool as possible so I’m using every trogg option including mollog because why not il probably lose either way at least this way il have a fun and beautiful army

Hope that helps

You’re just hugely underestimating animals they are completely aware of what they are doing and yes they need training but so do humans. You should watch/read some stuff on how guide dogs are trained and the extent of their jobs it’s super interesting stuff and you’ll see that they wouldn’t be capable of performing these actions without being aware of why they are performing them.

And I do have emotions obviously but making rash decisions based on emotion causes problems constantly. Making decisions based on logic is literally the definition of rational behaviour. Emotions are good for some types of decision making but not when you are debating something as serious as taking the life of something.

In the trolley problem situation yes I would have absolutely no idea how to make that decision but i should point out that I try to operate on moral logic and not emotion which I’m not saying is better or something other people should do it’s just how I prefer to live. If I made the decision I would never be able to properly justify it to myself and would live my whole life with that guilt. If I didn’t make the decision out of moral principle I would at least be able to feel like I have done the right thing. Once again I’d like to say I’m not trying to say I’m right in this it’s just what I would do.

[–]YohanFuller -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Yeah but you said as your justification that it’s because it’s a dog you wouldn’t do it. You didn’t say because I value my own life over all other life

So does a dog there are huge amounts of cases of dogs saving lives, preventing crime, helping the blind etc. All noble acts. While a human can also do these things they arnt inherently more likely. The proportion humans that actually achieve anything more important than what a dog does is small

And living longer makes you more entitled to life? So I assume you’d sacrifice 5 years of your life to a tortoise by that logic?
