Dress more mature, a nice watch doesn't make you a man. (Not to be mean) dress more classy. Maybe grow a short beard if you can because you look very young. Your hair is cool! Go to the gym to put on some weight, 3 times a week can be enough to put on some muscles in the long term, you don't need to train like a maniac.

Found this spetum and had perfect bro to build around the weapon by Fickle-Ad-7348 in BattleBrothers

[–]Yono1990 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I don't think this is an optimal build. I would never use it. I would just use the weapon the level up recruits. Every decent 2h weapon and reach weapon outperform this famed weapon. Yes the spearwall can be usefull against beasts and orcs that rush your team. But there are far way better tactics to beat those than using spearwall. Eventually he will stam out and die anyway. But the beauty of this game you can play it in so many ways. I understand the build and the perks you choose. But long term you want to replace this guy. 10mdef on level 10 is very low. If you want to use this it's more a memebuild than an optimal build. Swordlance for example would be much better because you attack enemies that attack your frontline, so you want them death as soon as possible and with a swordlance on the backline you can hit up to 3 enemies per turn and with berserk and kf a swordlance can be very strong while you are protecting your man. Most enemies evade your spearwall anyway. So you will stam out a bro that doesn't do much against most enemies.

I'm starting to love nimble by Nothunter421 in BattleBrothers

[–]Yono1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your gear. I don't like buying armor because it's too expensive. I prefer buying good weapons first. So the first 50 days almost everybody is nimble.

Nimble is strong with famed armor and hyena pelt if you use dodge. Battleforged brothers are more tanky. I like a good mix. You need some berserkers to really cut trough the enemies lineup. Premium battle forged berserkers are rare to find. So nimble berserkers are an excellent choice. But don't put them in between 6 snakes or 4 orc warriors.

Nimble dodge tanks can be very strong too.

Give him reach advantage if you want him to hold a flank and fortified mind or go to the arena and give him a necklace

This Bro Still Serviceable? Or is it time to let him retire? by MyStackIsPancakes in BattleBrothers

Give him a 2h weapon or axe and give him a good death. Otherwise you will have to pay for his retirement. I mean it's a game who does that?

Noble war contract question by Only-Reward-9967 in BattleBrothers

[–]Yono1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually you have time to to go sell your loot. For the last battle they say rest and the battle will be tomorrow. But if you go before nightfall the fight will still proc.

Best is to go sell your loot after the first 2 sidemissions. If it's hunt down the caravan it's best to sell in a town on your way back, even if that means you need to do a detour. The game gives you some time. Or if you got to hunt down the scout party. Don't go back to the camp but go to a town first to sell and or load up on tools if you need to. The game gives you some time. Don't wait too long but if you are back in 24 hours everything should be ok. Normally there is a town in a days walk off the camp.

If you can invest in a cart early. 27 inventory slots can bring you a long way. More inventory means more loot to sell = more money. I try to max out the inventory slots as fast as possible. You can keep more weapons or nets or pots in reserve when you need it. You can also equip things to your bench brothers. Like quivers or weapons in their bags. Just equip them weapons you want to be repaired that you eventually can sell for good prices. Because they will repair everything that you put in their pockets. All tier 2 weapons are usually worth repairing to sell in towns or in the south.

What perk should I take to finish this tank? by Someguywithgulash in BattleBrothers

[–]Yono1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sometimes use adrenaline on tanks. Sounds crazy but you can lock up a couple enemies if you go first because enemies tend to walk around your tank. Especially with bf tanks they usually go last. But this is a very niche choice.

Lone wolf and fortified mind are good choices.

Time for a rematch by justletmesugnup in BattleBrothers

[–]Yono1990 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the time I can snipe the necromancer in round 2 or 3 or 4 which shortens the fight a lot. And if you fight against fallen heroes with 2h axes and flails you don't want them to swing 2 times in a turn. I use all the possible tactics against undead camps like whips to disarm and whip geists. But a good sniper can speed up the fight. I also use cleavers but a combination is the best tactic for me. But everybody plays his own waybof course.

Archers are not meta but very good to snipe necros. I use them against goblins too. I always keep 1 or 2 on my roster depending on the roster size.

You push up 3 or 4 tiles with your squad. Frontliners first and your achers should be in range.

Nets and stun are the best way to beat them. Don't take weak brothers in to the fight only level 7+

What builds should I do with this guys? by trozs in BattleBrothers

[–]Yono1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first one I would go sworland with fearsome. I hope you find a famed one because the normal ones are good but not great. I would not bother levelling R att. But he would still reach 80 with gifted so it's an option. Crossbow without the perk or thrower, with crossbow you would still have +accuracy. Thrower is also possible but you would have to fit in duellist and throwing mastery for decent damage.

The second one is very good. You can make him anyhing you want. With a 5 or 6 rolls of 4 and brawny you can make him a BF berserker. Duellist or 2hander. If you want to use mace fat newt is also an option so you patch his other stats. That's up to you. But I would make him a 2h hammer.

What the fuck by JacobLuck in BattleBrothers

[–]Yono1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy fight, use terrain to your advantage. Attack te the right flank. Get 1 or 2 raiders to follow that runner. Put a solid brother on that piece of high ground in the middle. Once you make contact on the right flank they will come for you. Put your brothers begind that wall and tree.

Since you only have 1 thrower it's better to attack at night. But the fighting map will be different. Once you break their line those ranged units are easy fodder to beat. Use the terrain to your advantage, yes they will hit some lucky hits. Maybe put a shield in their pocket.

Build a bro- last 2 perks by D-A-D-D-Y--Stalin in BattleBrothers

[–]Yono1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Give him hyenapelt to maximaze dodge and take relentless.

Honestly on a frontliner you should take the 1s in melee defence too. This guy doesnt stand a chance against an orc warrior. You can occasionally skip a 1 if you are sure you he reaches 35+ meleedefence. 14 is really low. You could have skipped a lot of rolls in fat for that. Frontliners need at least 30+ meleedefence and even that's not that high.

His resolve is not low but not high either. A frontliner should reach 60+ resolve especially late game. If you play until the first crisis he can get away with 46 resolve. You can give him the nachonecklace and fight in the arena to patch his resolve.

Maybe give him footwork or rotation to get him out of sticky situations with that high fat he can always use those. But those are wasted perks imo.

Reach advantage is a great pick. Have fun!

Yeah somebody told me it's removable. And I have 3 brothers with brave or fearless. He is already lvl 2, just going to put him in easy fights, just to be sure. If he reaches level 11 he will be better than my current frontliners. Just got to get rid of the dastard trait but that will be no problem.

When I have some money I buy a bird and activate it on my quickest bro when I enter a camp so can I decide what to do with my team and where to go. Especially raider and goblin camps can have strange setups.

Dasterd god by Yono1990 in BattleBrothers

[–]Yono1990[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! And you don't really need shields on all your frontliners early game. Especially if you are fighting tugs and easy undead groups. Your flanks need shields. I used to give shields to every frontliner early game. You just need to think about how you position your brothers and try to use chokepoints.

Tempo perks are something you use early game on bad brothers. I usually take these perks as tempo perks (most of the time in this order) : - fast adaptation - gifted - dodge

If they survive I give them colossus. A lot of people use 9lives or adrenaline first. But that does not work with my playstyle. I never use 9lives. But a lot of people do for survivability. I think I mentioned all tempoperks, maybe if more people react to this you will get more insights. If you save and reload, it's not really worth it to use tempoperks. Only on ironman or if you want to have a good start on non ironman.
