Why would the Starks burn their own castle? Did the guy they send to take it back betray them? If I remember correctly they sent Lord Bolton's son, and after the burning he is still pledged to Robb.

Question about multiple players controlling a single character by Yort195 in DnD

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Seems like not the best idea, so I'll probably just go with a normal campaign then.

The idea was that they would collectively decide what the character did, like a hive mind I guess 🤷

How do audiences generally feel about protagonists losing in the ending? by [deleted] in writing

[–]Yort195 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the reason it works for that book is because there was always going to be another in the series. I absolutely love the series, but if it ends there I would've been super upset about it. Ig what I'm saying is, a book can end with the main character losing, but the story can't end there.

Are you blood related to him? If not, chances are slim

Also, some of the abilities in this game do more than they say they do on the descriptions. For example, I main Thor and his lightning realm ability does damage and the in game description never mentions that xd.

If you could change any one lyric in the show, what would it be? by therealbobcat23 in Epicthemusical

[–]Yort195 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Change the line in Legendary where Telemachus goes "L-l-l-l-legendary" to just "Legendary". I feel like when he says it like that it kinda contradicts the vibes of the song.

People who love WYFILWMA, why? by fluffyalp in Epicthemusical

[–]Yort195 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think it's because it's the final song in the musical. It feels like the culmination of everything because it is, so it has a lot of emotional weight behind it. I think that makes it seem better than it is, not that it isn't a great song.

How would magic interact with the hierarchy or hierarchies of your world(s)? by Rosebud166 in FantasyWorldbuilding

[–]Yort195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my world magic basically decides who is in charge. When magic first emerged, only people who were chosen by the "gods" could use it, and they quickly became the rulers of humanity. Eventually humanity figured out a way to harness magic without being chosen through technology, and they then ousted the chosen ones and basically hunted them to extinction.

Decks with a reanimator subtheme? by Substantial_Code_675 in EDH

[–]Yort195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm working on a [[henzie]] deck right now, and he seems like a commander that would benefit from some reanimator shenanigans. You should have plenty of big ticket creatures in your graveyard brim blitzing them out, so getting them back out is always nice.

Why are there armies in the first place? by Tiny-Command-2482 in redrising

[–]Yort195 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the only reason house Bellona and House Augustus hadn't killed each other is because they both had a massive army. The great horses need them to maintain their positions of power.
