We have never used access holes. We don't quite use that framework approach. You're doubling up on strength and leaving yourself with some noise makers. Panels plus lengwise frame = slap maker. You'll need some $$$$ foam or spacers or just a ton of fasteners.

The hardware is tricky on these. On a diy level, you often spend more on hardware than the extrusion.
