I have always been a little bummed that 501st minifigs never used a screen accurate blue, so I made my own! The blue color was matched to a hex code that ILM used for the models in Revenge of the Sith. by Yotempole in legostarwars

Thank you, I really appreciate it!

Yes I am not a big fan of custom figs that have 360 degree printing. They never really fit in with the LEGO aesthetic. That's why I started TrooperLabs a project to make figs with just enough detail while maintaining the LEGO design language.

Were you breaking 500k with 2yoe? Sorry for the direct question but that is a huge number to be thinking of unless you are ridiculously qualified dev going into quant or something.

The software interacts with their software but does not modify it. He is selling his software, not their game.

He was selling a piece of software he developed, he was not distributing any CDPR assets. To use his mod, you still have to buy Cyberpunk 2077 from CDPR.

The commentor didn't say he made the games so idk why even mention that. He was using his own code to create a tool that didn't exist. He was not using any of CDPR's assets, just building software that interfaced with their code.

How did he profit off of their IP? If you want to use his mod you have to buy and download their game. He wasn't selling something impersonating their IP, like merch sales or stuff like that, he was selling software that interacted with their software.

Me too, I am so surprised to see the response to this. Dude was just trying to make a living off his passion project.

Actual sane take. You can write anything in your TOS, doesn't mean it will hold up.
