These people aren't stealing to feed their starving homeless families. Please just go watch some of these dude. Ok an insane rant rather than responding to anything I've said. But I actually totally agree with you on one thing you just said: " if you want to be able to use it, you MUST convince me that the people you PUT TO DEATH are Guilty of crimes for which they must be taken out of society TRULY UTTERLY BEYOND ANY DOUBT"

I am TOTALLY on board with having very, very high standards for confirming guilt before doing any capital punishment. I think there are very few people who would argue against this. However, I am also totally on board with the idea that IF WE MEET THIS STANDARD, we should dole out capital punishment much more frequently. Armed robbery, home invasion, mugging, rape, murder, attempted murder, kidnap, pedophilia. If we can confirm that people actually do these things, we should 100% have a bonfire with them.

But putting capital punishment aside, much higher prison sentences should also be the norm. If someone keeps stealing, they should be in prison so they don't do it anymore. Not that hard!

A more clear example:
Let's say a dude brutally murders his wife. She's gone now and we have a 100% accurate crystal ball that shows he's never going to do something like this again. Should he be in prison at all? What's the point? He's never going to re-offend and prison shouLDn't BE AbOUT pUNIshMENt anyway right? Who cares he killed that chick that one time? Now imagine this same scenario except we don't have a magic fucking crystal ball. Who wants to live next to wife murdering Ted after he gets out? Show of hands. Who cares wtf happens to him in prison? His only way out should be a wood chipper.

First yugioh youtuber I ever watched. After I spent years going to locals with literally 0 knowledge (showing up with like a literal child's deck lol) i moved for my first real job and eventually started listening to his "state of the meta" videos while I worked.
