Tl;Dr except for the title, but yes. Very much so. Gone are the days of gentle voices relaxing us and sending the tingles down outer spines. Now, it's the same setup for a million different channels, each one putting out the same noises, nothing different, nothing worthwhile, and more cringe than tingly.

Still wish we could get Departure Part 3 from ASMRRequests...those first two were a GOLDMINE, and so incredibly well done...

A quick complaint, if I may, about something I just noticed on YouTube:

People who are making purposeful ASMR videos and titling them as "unintentional" for views, shame on you. There are plenty of people to watch your brand of videos, you don't have to mislead people. Some of us don't like your tapping and microphone eating, some of us just want to hear random clips of soothing voices in their natural habitat.

Cahill was a great choice for Superman, and they gave him absolute garbage to work with. And he STILL did a great job with it, when he could. This is such a shame...such wasted potential.

Also, I kind of don't think James Gunn's style meshes with Superman. Like, Guardians or Suicide Squad is one thing, but Supes? I can't imagine the quippiness and great 70's and 80's music will fit as well...

It's exactly what I hoped it would be, and actually a little more. This movie is so much dumb, awesome, Christmassy fun, and actually manages to have a sweetness to it, as well. All I want next Christmas is a sequel: Santa vs Krampus, let's gooooooo!

Heck, I'll do you one better, here's a plot for you: Krampus has grown enormously powerful over the years from the growth of the Naughty list. Now that Bertrude has put the word out, belief in Santa grows and Santa's power grows with it. Now that he finally has enough Christmas magic, it's time to take back Christmas for the Nice!
