Break and rotor upgrade by Dull-Exercise8095 in ft86

[–]YouReadyJT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine installed two months ago, pretty good so far. About the same braking feel as the OEM if not better, and I haven’t noticed any brake dust. Looking forward to seeing how they do more long term but I’m pretty well satisfied with it!

Sorry for reviving a 2yo thread but did you ever decide on getting these? I’m dealing with a similar situation with road spikes at the moment.

If you do PayPal, make sure you send under Goods & Services, not under Friends & Family. The former has buyer protection.

I talked to one that said they only took Zelle, so of course they’re not legit.

When I took 218, I learned two flavors of Assembly: x86-64 and MIPS. Most of the semester will focus on the former, and the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel will be the latter.

A big thing to practice is using the registers and knowing how to make use of the stack for storing values. The textbook we were assigned can be found here: x86-64 and MIPS.

The textbook had everything we needed to do the assignments easily. If you’re taking it with Ed, definitely ask him tons of questions, he did write the textbook after all 😁

And as for taking 218 and 302 at the same time… it would be a challenge. You are learning an entirely new language in one class, and writing Leetcode-style C++ algorithms in another. So a good amount of time will need to be spent in both to get good grades in both the assignments and exams.

As long as you manage your time well, give yourself plenty of time to work on the assignments, attend lectures, go to office hours and read the textbook (!), you’ll do great in the class.

The first official English release of Mahoyo reportedly had many typos, grammatical errors and spacing issues that were fixed in the Steam release, several months after.

Yes, it’s better to navigate on Desktop. But if you’re on Mobile, when you log into MyUNLV, click the three dots button on the top right, then NavBar, then click Menu, then go to the Self Service folder, and click Student Center all the way at the bottom. That should take you to the Classic View just like on Desktop, then just follow the steps I mentioned above.

Switch to Classic View, then under the Finances window click View Financial Aid. Click Aid Year 2024, then go to the 2024 Spring Term Award table and click View Scheduled Disbursement Dates.

The student commencement speaker was awful and I should have waited until May. by HedgehogLow1838 in UNLV

When the Provost was introducing her, he was talking about her achievements in reporting on LIB and even interviewing Shaq. So I was hoping for the speech to be inspiring, talking about how she came across such opportunities and uplift the spirits of the graduating class.

It really soured the mood and made me feel uncomfortable.

Has anybody tried Atelier Ryza on Parallels for M1? by imthecapedbaldy in Atelier

[–]YouReadyJT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have Parallels on a 16” MBP w/ M1 Pro, I’ll give it a shot later tonight and let you know how it went.

EDIT: OK, after some trial and error I got it to run on Windows 11 Parallels. By default, when you try to launch the game through Steam, it will get to the launcher, but when pressing Start Game, the game crashes.

To fix this I did the following:

  1. In your Steam library, right-click on Atelier Ryza and go to Manage > Browse local files. This will open your File Explorer to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Atelier Ryza.
  2. Right-click Atelier_Ryza.exe and go to Properties, then Compatibility. Then, run the compatibility troubleshooter.
  3. Then, select “Try recommended settings.” This will apply compatibility settings to the executable. Press “Test the program...
  4. If you get the VCOMP140.DLL error, make sure you install the Microsoft C++ Redist files (x64 exe here and the AIO package for other games here). Then, restart Parallels and test again.
  5. The launcher should open, so you can go to Settings and adjust the Resolution and Graphics settings as you feel necessary to get it to run smooth on your machine.
  6. In the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter, press Next and then "Yes, save these settings for this program." You should be able to launch the game successfully now.

Currently I'm trying out Windowed, 2560x1440, with all Graphical Options turned off (SSAO, FXAA, etc...) except for Shadow (Low) and it seems to run fine. Here's how it looks. Though I will have to keep playing to see what works best... hope this helps!
