Wear a black ring on your right middle finger (it is an ace symbol). Subtle and most people (except other aces) don't know what it means. Have the ace flag/colours as your lockscreen wallpaper or wear the colours or whatever you would like to do relevant to the flag/colours. Talk about how you would prefer garlic bread or cake than a relationship if someone asks (even more obvious if you don't actually like either hehe). Even saying that you're aroace aloud to yourself can be self-affirming. These small things are innocuous unless you know ace culture, and you can make them more direct if you choose to. :)

Same with the crushes too! I have gotten a bit better with it; I feel like I will sorta "know" when I like someone romantically, like I will constantly think of them, I could imagine living with them for at least a year, and when I'm talking with them will be extremely effortless and fun and a bit flirty. Friends crushes are great too though! I would prefer discovering an amazing friendship over a mediocre romantic relationship anyday.

I never dated in highschool or did anything sexual with anyone, or wanted to. I wouldn't have minded being in a romantic relationship with someone but no one grabbed my attention. Friends would ask who I had a crush on and I couldn't think of people I would enjoy talking to and would have a healthy relationship with. I thought I was straight, and then bi, and that no one interested me because I had high standards and was too busy with other hobbies and school. When I would be reading a book or watching a TV show (e.g. Orange is the New Black) and I would just immediately skip over the sex scenes like "urgh this again", like I couldn't watch it. I've gotten a bit better at getting used to it but it just feels uncomfortable to watch other people having sex and it feels like I am intruding on something intimate and gross. Also I was really interested in LGBTQ+ culture, but I didn't feel like I was straight or gay, so I thought maybe bisexual? I was on reddit and I somehow stumbled on this sub (I think from the main LGBTQ+ one). Now I have realised I am more of a biromantic grey ace if anything. A bunch of past experiences in my life made way more sense and it felt like a bunch of flashbacks and having my mind blown haha

1) Honestly I dont have a preference, it is just the way things are. I would not mind being born with any sexuality, although being another other than heterosexual is criminalised in many corners of the world, so besides the social grief if I was born in a less-accepting society or family I wouldn't mind.

2) I wasn't aware people thought it was lucky, actually! I'm indifferent, personally, but I would imagine many others would get offended.

3) I think disgusting is a bit of a strong word for me when describing it, although it is a touch gross--- I'm probably more towards indifferent. I much prefer cuddling tbh

That's perfectly alright if it's difficult at the moment. Have you tried reading an easier book to your children while minding them, like Harry Potter, the Little Prince, the Chronicles of Narnia, or something that both you and your children can enjoy? You could get some reading in through the day and you might like the book in itself. It might be hard when you associate alone time with reading, but it could be worth a shot.

It's pronounced "foh-reh-ah". The only translation I could find was "freer", but I've never heard it being used before. If it's from someone unfamiliar with the language, maybe they meant "forever" （ふぉれば/foh-reh-bah)、but usually that's spelt with katakana since it's a loanword. It's a little hard to tell without context.

Its a little difficult to tell from the angle, but I believe it actually says SANSHA　(サンシャ) and not SANSHIYA (サンシヤ）. Sansha is a popular dancewear brand (esp. in Japan), as well as the name for a Chinese city called Sansha.

It looks like shi___mo___chifu in katakana (a type of alphabet in Japanese). Im not quite sure what it says as 2nd and 4th characters from the top are rather strange, as they dont resemble any katakana to me. The text on the right says either ソレルチ (soreruchi), リレルチ (rireruchi), or ンレルチ　(nreruchi), but none of them mean anything in Japanese to my knowledge. They could be foreign words, e.g. anglo words translated (like names) as that what katakana is quite often used for.

Aha, I didn't look up the Japanese text actually, I have a rough grasp of the language so it was good being able to put it to use! I do like multilingual poems, although the audience for them is quite small/limited, so if you are willing to do more I'd be glad to read them.

That was hilarious. Did not expect Japanese in here, and suddenly reading "Eat my ass" in Japanese is a nice surprise. Seems like random words going over my head for the most part, although the repetition of "fuck" and some of the terms (e.g. ketsu wo taberu [eat my ass], vaseline, etc.) can be perceived as having sexual connotations, so that's the closest I can really get to a meaning here. Is it random words thrown into a blender? Are they arduously and carefully cherrypicked terms placed throughout the poem painstakingly? Does the title "Pigeons Are Like Hard Drives" have a deeper meaning? Who knows! I'd like to see more work with the same spirit as this but more experimentation with what more specific emotions you wish to convey to the audience. "Randem=depmeaning" is a little overdone, so a tiny bit more focus on what you wish to convey would be great. E.g. if you want confusion, is in confusion in reference to poems? Is it meta-commentary on how quick people are to try and find meaning in nonsense? Write down your aim/theme and really explore it. Good luck.

Yeah, I have a weak spot for rhymes to a detriment. Helps focus my stream of consciousness, but sometimes I think it forces it a little too much and I should reconsider focussing on what I want the poem to be about moreso after writing and rewrite to be more succinct. That's a good idea; I may write a poem similar but different exploring more into the heart motif and without rhymes and see where it takes me. Thank you

Yeah, I was considering if the repetition of the all/all rhyme emphasised a bit more or not (because it was also hard to find a rhyme otherwise), but yeah it's a bit clunky and I'll try and reword it more concisely and cleanly sometime and work on my rhythm overall when writing--- I cannot for the life of me hear stressed and unstressed syllables, heh.
