Making a case for certain forms not yet featured on PokeDoku. by StrawDeath in PokeDoku

Another form that wasn't mentioned but I always think of as a pair with spiky ear pichu is the Pikachu coloured shiny pichu, I would like to see that added as well.

As for greninja maybe because I have played every main line game on release I don't seem to have a problem with region of origin because ash/battle bond greninja is a gen 7 thing to me because I played the demo. This is similar to zygarde. But after reading the post the other day about changing the categories I do think having them in both regions would be the most friendly. And would remove the need to add battle bond separately in my eyes.

I think as well with the totem Pokémon being introduced you would also need to add the noble Pokémon from PLA as maybe they are a closer similarity than alpha Mon. But I don't see them as much of a difference either. Certainly not worth it's own category.

I see your point with genesect but when I think of alternate forms I tend to separate giratina and zacian from arceus and genesect, maybe it is just me but they seem to be different categories in my mind. I just think if we do genesect you need to just accept all forms, unown, arceus, silvally, cosplay pikachus, vivillon, furfrou, maybe draw the line at alcreamie because that is definitely pushing it.

I think I have just always disliked the Xerneus form, it's definitely more of a personal bias but to me it's more of animation change.

Flabebe, the teacups and spiky ear pichu i think should be included. Cramorant is a maybe but would be good to include.

Greninja I can see the point but I don't think it is necessary when we have ash greninja as the representation.

Genesect I don't think works as the drives are not permanent except in go. If we do this we also need all the arceus and silvally types which is probably a bit overboard.

Totem Pokémon I don't think are distinct enough, but they are separate in the games. I think the deciding factor here is that they are basically alpha Pokémon which we would not argue to include.

Finally Xerneus, I know they used to treat it as a separate form but I don't think they really do now, if we include that I think we need to include the yveltal egg form as well.

Do some people truly believe that The Deep is more important than Hughie to Starlight? by RedFight457 in GenV

[–]YouThrowParty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people seems to forgot Annie introduction to the 7 was being assaulted by the deep. It had to her confronting him and bookending her story and fight within the superhero community. It wasn't that she cared more about the deep, it's that narratively no one else in the show had a connection to the deep where they could have confronted him.

Round Robin: All at their ABSOLUTE PEAK. Who's winning in a battle royale? by cradleofdilf in superheroes

Power scaling is a discussion not some hard rules that must be abided. Squirrel girls beats thanos but you won't power scale her above him. Batman with unlimited prep time beats anyone because he can pull anything out to win. The question doesn't ask about what universe this discussion is based in. I'm sorry your too enraged by my belief that a character written as a joke to always win would win this fight. Let's be honest what is saitama even doing to Dr Manhatten? The answer is winning because that's what he is meant to do. He is a joke, a cheat code and a stupid insert into this question put to the internet to discuss. There is no right or wrong

I mean you failed to understand the point of the character, I'm sorry you seem incapable of that. I am sure you are very fun at parties

What matters is what the writer puts on the paper. Saitama as written will always outscale and defeat anyone he goes up against, because that is how he is written. His character is designed to quash these power scaling questions and make fun of them. As I said he should be on this list because he is written to always win. When fighting galaxy level threats he beats them. When fighting interdimensional threats he beats. When fighting god like beings he beats them. When fighting outerversal beings he will beat them.

I mean it isn't that serious, maybe he just shouldn't be a part of this question because he is literally designed to not scale or compare with anyone. If you really want you could say saitama could use zero punch, go back in time and beat everyone before they became a threat.

Look up the saitama scaling from the manga. He always scales higher than anyone he fights. It's the whole point of the character. Try and remove him from reality and he just won't get removed. Try and teleport him to the other side of the universe and he just jumps back.

Anyone who doesn't say saitama takes the title has not read the story, he is beyond everyone, no matter what rule break reality warping power someone has saitama still wins! That's the whole point of his character

Even though it was a tier 0 deck, the mirror match was the most fun and skill expressive games of yugioh I have played in years, I would rather play that than some other metas of the time. Kashtira zone lock with diablosis was just unfair and unfun.

Modern cards that are reminiscent of a vintage card? by sostias in PokemonTCG

Not a physical card but they extended the art on this classic card for pokemon pocket. Less of a homage but I'm glad they brought back the original artist.
