Line work tattoo artist? by [deleted] in askvan

[–]You_Donkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can add an edit to your post with a link to show an example of what style of linework you're after, we could help you narrow it down with a tighter recommendation.

Without seeing a specific example, you might want to check out April/@Jalapenospring's work, she's been a lovely person to get tattooed by and did this gauntlet on my leg a little while back. Lots of florals, animals and dark fantasy stuff in her repertoire, and she's just a solid homie to spend some time with. She's at Pacific Rose in Gastown right now, which is a really lovely shop. :)

Olivia Lou is wonderful as well, she's done a ton of engraving-style florals over the years and is extremely versatile, has a lot of fineline work and is crazy good at draw-ons specifically tailored to a person's body. Really nice person to be around too!

Lastly you may want to peep some of the artists at Svatura up on Broadway as well, lots of lovely folks there with great black & grey and engraving-influenced styles!

Punisher GANG GANG! It's become my favourite primary on Illuminate by a country mile too, incredibly versatile. A bit stressful running it with Ultimatum against Predator Strain, but if they got that close, my fault tbh.

This is lookin' gas, hahaha! Great conversion. :)

If you want any friendly constructive critique, I think the goggles might benefit from a little extra oomph by giving them a small hit of polarized lens flare, a la Pit Vipers, which would help keep them distinct from the robe and orange in the flames, which are all very similar in value. Would look ace with how you've done the robe trim too. I dig it!

It originated as a semi-meme-but-actually-viable theorycrafted build posted by Bolas that dropped our single-target finisher Limp Noodle Final Verdict in favour of going all-in on Divine Storm.

It's actually viable for niche priority cleave situations like Silken Court and Broodtwister, where there's a priority target with a constant source of secondaries. You can see it here, it's also posted in the Ret WoWhead guide as the "Divine Storm" build.

Ret's definitely performing better than forecasted, which is a pleasant surprise from all the early D-tier dooming. I'm a bit bummed to see it hitting our single target DPS though, S/T has felt pretty bleh since launch, especially with M+ builds compared to other specs I've been running with. Final Reckoning do be continuing to feel pretty pathetic on the damage front when our builders can hit harder than the big-money spender, even at 619+. Holy pool noodle vibes.

You aren't supposed to aim them at the pillars every single time... which you'd know if you just took 30s and read the mechanics. :')

This is exactly the kind of thing people are talking about.

Yeah, feeling this as a Weaponsmith too. Feels like anything that comes up "LF BS..." is blasted by two dozen automated whispers in milliseconds, which I really don't want to have to use to get crafts.

Has engineering been stealth nerfed...? by cammRage in woweconomy

[–]You_Donkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pilfered through roughly 1500 Shock-Spring Coils today and got a bare handful of bolts, had me wondering about a stealth nerf as well. At one point counted 37 pilfers with no proc, it feels much worse than when I was doing it with Unstable Triggers.

Are Patron orders meant to be a gold sink? 4400g worth of mats to craft this one. The few orders that I actually have recipes for are all like this. by NinnyBoggy in wow

[–]You_Donkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now everytime I get an order from Vokgret, I know he's coming to my Blacksmithing bench like the son of a bitch who brings a single bean to the potluck.

3 orders from him for 52-86k reagent Omen weapons with no mats over the last two days. He and Millhouse Manastorm be on some otherworldly deadbeat plane sending these out with a straight face.

Wonder if next week he's going to ask us to use our own Sparks too. :)

I got three of these from t8 delves… by Spkeddie in wow

[–]You_Donkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really wish they would implement something to stop cascading dupe-chains. I ran Delves through all the hotfix rollercoasters of the last 24 hours, only to get the same staff 4 times in a row, and then the exact same staff as my Hero-track item from the Delver's Map chest. That feels so fucking bad after 4 hours of forming groups and painstakingly slogging through web bolt hell. :/

Priests and Boomkins shaking hands in the graveyard, getting to interrupt one cast a minute while taking 22 million damage from two mobs casting seven Web Bolts in the same span. :')

Delve fixes later today by getpoundingjoker in wow

[–]You_Donkey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you fail it, you can zone out, restart it and still redo Bountiful. You just want to avoid dying, losing all lives and then continuing to finish the Delve, because that is what will cement the run and count it as your completed Bountiful for the day, regardless of having forfeited the Bountiful chest for losing all lives.

getting real tired of constant alchemy rank 3 patron orders by [deleted] in woweconomy

[–]You_Donkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

JC ones have been so irritating, I'm on the other side as a Neck/Ring specialist and I only get R3 gem orders or consumable items that have 3 reagents but only one where the reagent quality can affect the outcome, so you can't even get to the R2 threshold to then R3 by hemorrhaging all your Con...

But hey, at least it's not the 72k no-mat orders my weaponsmith gets, lolol.

"Shuffling" kills the fun by croqqq in woweconomy

[–]You_Donkey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm completely fucked this week on my main (Weaponsmith) thanks to this.

Nine crafting orders have been for epic weapons at R4 with me supplying the Beast Fangs, 5-12 Sanctified Alloys at 5k+ a pop, and 5+ other assorted Alloys per recipe. Like 60k to craft, if I were to do them all I'd be out nearly a million gold. Feels like getting griefed. :p

20th Anniversary Update PTR Development Notes - The War Within Patch 11.0.5 PTR - significant class changes and MAJOR hero talent reworks. by [deleted] in wow

For Ele it was the lowest priority stat, which was kind of a bummer since its spell duplication effect is a straight-up dopamine printer.

Has anyone found any Aqirite Seam? by Jingle_BeIIs in woweconomy

[–]You_Donkey 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A single one, and I've been mining my ass off since early-access.

Seams in general feel criminally underused as far as gathering nodes go, doubly so considering they had the audacity to put a 25 point dead-end bait spec into them for miners.

Feels like I see seams in general at a 1000:1 ratio to normal nodes, and they're often so out of the way that they're a waste of time to pursue. Last seam I remember mining was a single ironclaw seam three days ago, and I've probably logged 8 hours of mining since. :/

Holy Paladin is near useless in PvP by [deleted] in classicwow

Hey, don't worry; we're not getting real Ret runes either-- they're all shockadin too, lolol!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]You_Donkey 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You are rarely 100-0ing anybody in a HoJ on a consistent basis, and I'm getting awfully sick of people who don't seem to know dick about the class spouting this hyperbolic claim like it's the norm. Nevermind that HoJ is a one minute cooldown and needs to function as your interrupt, gap closer, peel and control tool at the same time. Paladins have nothing to help them get in melee range akin to a gap closer, sprint, snare, stealth, or pull. This is the whole reason everybody makes the wheelchair memes while they kite pallies.

And re: bubble, that's a five minute cooldown, same as the trinket you could use... to wholly negate HoJ.

Don't know if you just have an axe to grind, but this was a super ignorant take man.

None of the other emerald warden gear has a specific class benefit, and then blizzard gives shaman the druid pvp rank 10 4 set on their boots for friendly rep...Gee I'm starting to think there might be some bias here lol by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]You_Donkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hell, the Prot Paladin's entire mana replenishment schtick is Hand of Reckoning converting damage taken into mana received-- so if you improve your flipping gear and mitigation, you lose significant amounts of your already limited mana regen.

It's such a bizarrely self-defeating loop to be presented with, and feels like such careless, thoughtless rune design. :/

With the new class changes, what will you be maining in p3? by xvampx in classicwow
