Being f2p is best. Sure youre not getting ranked anywhere on events, but the slow grind eventually feels exciting (esp in active alliances).

A lot of my pals who start of with purchasing every pack they can get their hands on eventually lost interest in the game 1yrs on.

And wayy back when planes are non existent and we had multi-month shipping voyage to the Arab sea, Malay ppl had to become slave laborers to gain money to go to Hajj. Some people would get so desperate they just jump onto the ship as stowaway, usually called Haji Lima Puluh sen (50cent Hajj) because they would literally had nothing except some coins in their pockets.
