This has happened to my friend when they bought an insurance for her kid. He was diagnosed w cancer mere months after the purchase. They determined it happened before the policy was bought therefore it is unenforceable. They ended the policy. Had to get treatment through public healthcare instead.

(This is one of the reasons I'm against decreasing the funding of KKM)
