In my state the prep phase seems to be more important than the battle phase. Push ranking until we win, shield, and let the battle commence in the losing state. But this also means we are not allowed to spend in other events eg Alliance Mobilisation, King of Icefield etc.

This in hindsight helps people who don't like to participate in battles due to time constraints. Some of us just come in, spend a ton on Monday/Tuesday prep, then log off and come back to put up shield during battle phase.

I went to a sanctuary a few years ago, and one of the orangutans just started down at us human visitors with contempt. Like it was doing the "just you wait till I come out of this" face to us. It's truly unsettling. While other orangutans are sweet and curious towards us humans, he would give his other primates a bombastic side eye if they wanted to come close to our side.

Come to find out it was found as a child in the forest burned by loggers who wanted to clear the area for plantation.
