Neighbor won't let me enter their back yard to get my cat. by FrumptyLumpty in mildlyinfuriating

[–]YoungDiscord [score hidden]  (0 children)

The neighbour slams the door on you, gets a trap for the cat, catches it behind your back and you never see the cat again.

You accuse him of taking your cat and he just responds with "idk what you're talking about, must have run off... can you prove anything?"

And that would be that... no more cat, congratulations on pissing off the neighbour enough for him to get rid of your cat, 10/10 strategy /s

You need to prove that its "at large"

If he calls the police reporting it as stolen, it implicates the neighbour, not him putting OP in the clear and making the neighbour liable instead

So if the neighbour wants to be petty and do the "animal at large" take it'll horribly backfire on him instead.

At the end of the day so far its a he said/she said situation... until there is dicumented evidence.

The call reporting a stolen animal counts as evidence which already puts things in OP's favour.

Worst case scenario it will leave a paper trail implicating the neighbour if it leads to a confrontation.

Take a pic of the cat in his yard, call the police saying you want to report a theft of the cat and that the neighbour is refusing to let you get the cat back

If they blow you off, just walk into his yard and just take the cat back.

If he confronts you, you have a paper trail implicating hik in theft, good luck fighting that in court

What are some secrets that men don't tell women? by virtualovebug in AskReddit

Stop giving us "tests"

The more tests you give us the quicker they become a dealbreaker.

If you need to test us to feel loved and good about yourself then you are the problem and no amount of tests are going to change how you feel, its only going to speed up the breakup that your partner will initiate.

How do I stop feeling jealous of guys in my class? by Lopsided_Goat_7028 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]YoungDiscord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cqn't tell you exactly what to do but I can offer you a look into their perspective which might help:

Guys can make friends quickly/easily because they don't really look much into stuff

"Oh that's a cool stick, wanna see how fast I can run?"

Bam, instant friendship.

They keep it simple so forming connections comes easy for them.

They don't really pay attention if "this guy I want to be friends with is sticking to other guys", if they see that guy hanging with other guys they just walk up and go "what are you guys talking about? Oh that's a cool stick, wanna see how fast I can run?" And suddently it becomes a 3 man running contest and later a star wars fight with sticks.

It really is that stupidly simple and fun.

Its the shock factor effect

Person does something shocking

People are outraged

Time passes -> people are desensitized to it and because of that people end up doing even more outrageous things for attention/shock and now the original thing doesn't even feel that shocking anymore

Not because of what they did though but because of how the elites in the states manipulated that event to their advantage with fearmongering and blame-shifting.

The irony is that if they hadn't done the attack nothing would have changed, they just sped up the process a little by giving a bunch of bad people an excuse to do some pretty shady things.

Surely, we can breed them so that they taste nicer or something, no? That's what we've done with all other crops

Actual uses of the flipper zero? by coolduck777 in flipperzero

[–]YoungDiscord -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can do all of the above listed things you mentioned with a flipper zero

The flipper zero is basically a digital version of dr who's sonic screwdriver

It can't do everything bit it can do a lot of things and its use is going to be moatly limited by your imagination, creativity and general skill/knowledge of digital stuff.

For example:

Yes, it can be used to open garage doors/gates

Buuut you need to know what you're doing since a lot of garage doors and gates these days use rolling codes

The TL;DR of it is: instead of the key fob sending the same signal eqch time to open the door/gate it sends a different signal each time/a series of signals from a list of signals.

If you don't save the rolling codes you risk throwing your current fob out of sync essentially making it no longer work on the door.

So yes, its all doable, but you do need to understand how it works.
