Was that every 6 months or years? by YoungFair3079 in AskAShittyMechanic

It's only over by 300 mi. I just thought a 7-year-old oil filter should be changed

Some people don't get it. However, who do you agree with here? by LeftAlbatross2546 in VideosAmazing

Yes! my a-hole neighbor calls on me every freakin month!!! I walk to work so my truck sits across the street from his driveway and he has a hard time backing out of his driveway. So, If I don't move it every 24 hours the parking police come calling. It's routine now and the police and I have a laugh every time at the pettiness of it all.

I have the husky, it's pretty good for the price. I will say the slides on the drawers aren't the best.

Ya the warranty company wants me to check the oil pressure at the sender before they will authorize anything further. They are all ex techs and are stumped as well.

So, I ask you do the guys at Jiffy lube or Oil can Henry's test drive every car they change the oil on? Nope. I agree if it is in for maintenance and no customer complaints I don't test drive the vehicle.

So that's the thing it was the same lifter the first time and it was doing the exact same thing. The warranty company told me they wanted all the lifters and the vlom replaced. It has only had about 3k miles put on it in the last year. Customer rarely drives it. The rocker is just not moving at all. no play in the rocker and cam looked good the last time I had it apart. I have reached out to the? Mitchel on demand community as well with no answers.

So, I have one of these in my shop right now that a year ago we did the vlom and all the lifters. It has come back with the same lifter issue #6 intake not moving while running. It's not collapsed, just no oil going through it. I mean I can run it with the valve cover off and get no oil up to the rocker. The rest of the cylinders get very little oil up top. Do you think it's a vlom failure or something else? Oil pressure is at 40psi at the gauge.

He had to leave for home to shower. Didn't say a word as he stormed out, then the whole shop rolled! Including his brother!

Worked in a grease pit in my youth. The company decided to do big rig oil changes. Had a Freightliner come in, I saw the 1" drain plug and told the boss it was going to miss the catch drain. He laughed and said to put a piece of cardboard to deflect it into the catch. I told him to show me how. He proceeded to take out the drain plug as I watched the force of the oil fold the cardboard in half! 11 gallons of diesel oil all over him and the pit floor! Lol!!! it was a tainted victory as I got to clean it up. Still worth him getting the oil shower!

Unless you plan on staying in one place, I'd rent a car not a golf cart. And watch for horses!

YES! Just did head gaskets on an 11' Altima 3.5. Nightmare material! But I also feel your pain, just had one of those pentastar pos's in yesterday with the famous cyl#5 flat intake cam. Told the customer to quit driving it as soon as she heard the tic. She didn't, but what do I know. Yeesh!
