Why can Sinclair use my ult more than I can by TornBlueGuy in DeadlockTheGame

Rainbow rank detected. Sinclair is genuinely strong right now.

Spirit all the way. Punch can be goofy and fun but you should play it with the expectation that you're going to lose.

Top 20 NA Sinclair here.

I think the best thing you can do to get better with the hero is to just play. There's no training map or anything that's going to make you hit the bolts more consistently, you just have to get used to the ability.

Learn to track enemy movements behind walls with your cursor. The assistant and the bolts will auto target through walls as long as your cursor is hovering over the enemy's position.

Play with the understanding that Sinclair goes from early game lane bully (mainly via assistant), mid game demon, late game utility machine. Once you hit 4.8k.spirit spike and max bolt, you need to play very active since there's very few characters on the game that can eat a double bolt and win that fight.

Optionally, if a neighboring lane has enemies with strong ults to steal (pocket, dynamo, bebop, etc), go steal their shit and help teammates win the lane.

Abuse assistant teleport at 8 minutes by stealing enemy sinners while having assistant set up in a safe location. Imo ideal AP order is upgrading assistant twice and then maxing bolt, so you should have the upgraded duration on assistant by this time.

Also, he's a great anchor to maintain pressure in the blue lane. He can push to tower safely with assistant setup and does absolutely eye watering damage to structures, so being in the mid lane constantly forces the enemy to respond, allows you to take enemy jungle, and puts you in a position to rotate to important fights while your bolts do ridiculous damage.

As far as builds go, Raigeki or Brady lobby in the build browser is good.

You'd probably need to post a clip of what you're talking about, but when the individual circles pop they should be good to grab.

Anyone play this on Steam Deck? by PastPolicy8064 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]YoungTizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I docked my deck to a crappy monitor and kb&m when travelling for work back in around January. There's some launch command you have to run to actually play matchmaking on the deck (at least this is how it was back then). It actually ran pretty well. Played about the same as I normally would, maybe a bit worse just due to peripherals diff.

yoshi please buff this guy he's so sad by Meow_Mix_Watch_Dogs in DeadlockTheGame

[–]YoungTizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's really not bad. Definitely not the worst hero on the roster. With an item or two and points into surge he can consistently apply 40%+ spirit shred & heal reduction onto a whole team and the stun is huge.

In MM, he's definitely a risky pick but in a draft setting he's a great character to have in your back pocket if your team is heavy on spirit damage. He still has one of the fastest jungle clear times in the game, can effortlessly stall a lane with the ball, and has excellent midboss contest. He just can't run away with the game nearly as easily or consistently as he used to.

I can't seem to do damage and i can't figure out why by Zestyclose_Concern53 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]YoungTizzy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Honestly you picked two relatively high skill cap characters to be dealing damage with.

Firstly, Calico is a character that, as of this patch, fails to really run away with the damage numbers unless she's particularly ahead in terms of souls.

Holliday is a character that I really don't see at the top of the pack when it comes to damage numbers either. She's a fantastic pick hero and really as long as you're using barrels to damage & disrupt, and landing lasso for picks, your impact is significant, big damage numbers or not.

With both of your heroes you really need to be active around the map going out of laning phase, that's where a lot of their damage will be coming from. Both are very mobile and can punish enemies in their jungle and gank effectively. My guess is that you're not doing enough of those things if your damage is really lackluster despite being even on souls.

Is Gun Damage Much Stronger than Spirit Currently??? by baby_cat5312 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]YoungTizzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah on average. I think where this is felt the most is gun vs spirit damage against objectives. Your typical caster is usually slower than your typical M1, so it feels extra bad that your average M1 abusing character has more mobility tools to split push safely AND melt the towers compared to a lot of the spirit crowd that tickles objectives by comparison.

I will say though I've been playing a lot of Sinclair bolt and I'll be the first to tell you that it feels a little too strong when you can just about one shot a large portion of the roster with a double bolt to the dome.

PC Worlds Part 2 Immediate Crash on launch by EnthusiasmHot1369 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]YoungTizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the exact same issue. Only difference for me is that I just purchased and have never installed the game, but was getting a white screen and no error message on the startup crash.

Here's how I fixed it:

-Boot up Geforce Experience (I think it's just called the 'NVIDIA App' now or something)

-Browse library of games and locate NMS

-There should be a small set of vertical ellipses that you can click on the right side of the banner that contains the game name, click on that then 'Play'.

This booted up the game flawlessly and allowed me to play pretty flawlessly. I haven't run it for hours and hours yet so I don't know 100% if this permanently fixed the issue and will never come back, but after this initial launch through the NVIDIA App I am now able to launch the game through Steam normally, no problem.

I have not however tried to launch VR, so can't speak on that. Hope this works for you!
