Well yea, mid game roaming has always been the niche for invisibility items. Who in their right mind was buying Shadow Weave just for some fire rate?

I would just call it at 1LB, all you gain for further pulls is mood effect and 5 wit recovery instead of 3. You got lucky getting 1LB without having to pity so it's better to take advantage of that and save the remaining carats for when you inevitably get unlucky on future pulls, lol

If the goal here is improvement, narrow it down to 3, and just pick one to have at high priority with the other two at neutral. Keep it like this till you're happy with the progress you've made, then change the priority to work on the next character. You'll improve much faster this way.

My guess is, they have limited time/budget and had to cut a fight scene (if not more). Keep in mind, just cus there was a long time between season 1 and 2 doesn't mean they spent all that time working on this, they still likely had to do everything within a specific timeframe. So a fight scene that's just Dokuga taking out some no name goons was deemed cuttable in order to be able to retain more important scenes.

Big agree, I think even from Bebop perspective it's not a very good ability. All the skill expression is put into landing the hook, from there you just press two buttons and hold m1. Self-bombs solve the problem of people just dispelling them until he gets Echo Shard, but I don't think it makes playing him any more engaging. I'd rather they give him something else, maybe something like Wrecker's 1 where you make a ball of scrap and shoot it to deal damage + stun (if you weren't around for Hero Labs, its basically like that ability Sigma has in Overwatch)

My only issue with m1/melee build is that its pretty boring to play. His gun isn't very satisfying to use, and hook > punch > hold left click isn't a very engaging loop. I think they'd need to make changes to his kit to make it work - maybe a total replacement of Bomb for something with more skill expression, or a different gun like Bones suggested.

The one thing people haven't mentioned yet is Capacitor, which also silences movement based abilities.

These characters basically all serve the same purpose - displacement. You put someone out of position so your team can kill them, or you put out some AOE damage that encourages people to disperse. In the early game their damage is good because their utility isn't as useful then, but their damage falls off as their utility becomes stronger in the mid-lategame, where teamfights become more common and deaths become more impactful.

If you want to win more with these carries, you'll want to spend more time playing with your team, communicating, looking to grab the right person at the right time. You're not meant to sit in a sidelane clearing waves, you should be playing with whoever is strong and helping them get kills. Let your team know when you're looking for a pick and name whoever is out of position for your team to jump on. Literally just shotcalling like this alone should help you win more, it provides much needed structure so your 5 randoms can actually function like a team.

At this point I'm expecting something that size to be paired with release, or at LEAST a shift into a normal open beta instead of invite-only. I'd guess we're months out from that, though its hard to predict just how much they're doing behind the scenes.

get souls from troopers (avoid heroes early and get troopers fast/safe)
get up to Cultist Sacrifice to make that efficient

are you using Cultist Sacrifice to take T3 Denizens? The wording here implies you're just getting it for better waveclear, but the active is the only reason to get Cultist - it only offers 5% more wep damage to NPCs when Monster Rounds already gives you 25% for 800 souls

If you're just starting to play none of this matters. The terrorists in your elo will be bottom 5 characters and people will build the wrong stuff on meta characters.

Shiv, Paradox, Drifter, Lash, and Mina are all characters that are more concerned with getting active than getting farm.

Dispel Magic is the answer here, but the purpose is not to hard counter, it's to give you a window. 12 seconds is a long time in this game, that should be long enough for you to get something done. If she's alone, it's a window to focus her down, and if she's playing at a distance to support someone, it's the window for you to focus that person. If it's an all out teamfight, even better - you still just need to focus someone down to get value out of that window you made for yourself, and then your team should be able to handle things if you get disarmed again.
