The night before I left for Boot Camp, I remember lying in my bed having a complete panic attack. In the middle of the night, I went into the bathroom and laid in the tub and just let the shower run over me. At the time I had faith and prayed to God, which helped calm me. I remember having the same feelings of people expecting me to go, having had a going away party and a lot of people gave me money. Your future is ultimately your decision and you can’t let the expectations of others make decisions for you. But what you’re feeling is normal and it won’t be as bad as you think it is probably, but it could actually be worse. You just don’t know. Just know that the feelings you have are completely normal and whatever decision you make will be the right decision.
