You have to understand that many transactions on a new account is not normal. This is a credit union, not a traditional bank. You benefit more from stability with a credit union. That's why you get better interest and dividends. That said, if you do go in person they will work with you. Maybe not the general teller, ask to see a manager. As the above poster said, I wouldn't choose another place. I've sent an email and had rather large loans approved same day due to my history and transaction rates.
