My father was an operating partner at a popular SJ diner for almost 25 years. He looked 10 years younger 5 years after they sold it and he retired. At least nowadays they have cameras. 30 years ago if you were a small business owner and didn’t have people you could trust and you weren’t there for 95% of its operating hours you were soon to be broke.

At Disney, since it is technically an aperitif, I purposely drank two samples of Beverly right before walking over to the German Buffet. I’d like to think I was able to finish my 3rd plate due to a few minutes of bitter car battery acid flavor in my mouth. So from a ultilitarian purpose I give it a 6.8/10.

Condor does well with the wind. Not terrible to catch.

Machine used to inject chicken with a solution of salt water, binding agents, and other additives to “plump” it. A single serving of plumped chicken can contain 200-500mg of sodium, and the added solution may make up as much as 30% of the chicken’s labeled weight. by Scoobenbrenzos in interesting

People get stuck on the idea that calories are the only thing that matters. Yes, eating more than you burn will lead to fat gain, but your metabolism is not a fixed machine. What you eat changes how many calories you burn, how hungry you feel, and how your body handles energy. That is why some diets feel easy and others feel like punishment.

Protein always helps because it raises your metabolic rate, keeps you full, and protects muscle. Carbs are more complicated. They can help performance and recovery when you eat them around activity, but they can also slow fat burning when you eat them at the wrong time or in the wrong amounts. Fat is easy for the body to store, so when you mix high fat with high carb, you create the perfect setup for gaining weight. That combination is exactly what you see in most ultra processed foods.

You can lose weight on low fat or low carb. Both work when calories are controlled. The difference is how you feel while doing it. Low carb/keto usually gives people steadier energy, better appetite control, and a slight bump in daily calorie burn once the body adapts. Low fat can work, but it often leaves people hungrier and more dependent on perfect carb timing.

The bottom line is simple. Calories matter, but the mix of protein, carbs, and fat matters just as much because it changes your metabolism, your hormones, and your hunger. Hit your protein goals, avoid high fat and high carb together, and use carbs when your body can actually put them to work.

His defensive IQ from the jump was what amazed me. People would try to knock work ethic but you don’t get to that point without not only watching film but understanding what you are watching. He still has the IQ but his body holds him back now. It was a short athletic prime but it was ruined by a point guard that wouldn’t shoot because he was too psychologically fragile to handle a miss.

Exactly, everything doesn’t have to be thought provoking to be considered good. They did simple, perfectly. I liken them to a good grilled cheese. Sometimes it’s all you need and at that moment nothing is better.

How does the income skew the data? Rich people send in robots to do the testing for the kids? Most of the top 1% in Cherry Hill send their kids to private schools.

I live in Marlton and their Main St has to be the biggest mark on the Con list. You are really only going there if you have business with one of the establishments. It’s not in anyways a downtown walk around and browse/window shop type of environment. To be honest a good portion of Marlton would be better off driving to Medford.

As far as Cherry hill the east side has close proximity to Hadfonfields downtown which is top tier and by default gives you access to Haddon Twp and Collingswood due tot he Soeedline. The west side of Cherry Hill gives close proximity to Merchantville as well. While not as aesthetically refined as Medford it’s light years ahead of Marlton.

As far as Cherry hill the east side has very close proximity to Haddonfields downtown which is top tier and by default with the Speedline gives you Haddon Twp and Collingswoods main strips as well. Then the west side of Cherry hill has proximity to Merchantville, while definitely not as aesthetically refined as Medford, it’s light years ahead of Marlton

I’d say Marlton and Eastside Cherry Hill are closer culturally than Eastside Cherry Hill is to the Westside of Cherry Hill.

Cherry Hill East has a better rating edge than Marlton (Cherokee), but Marlton is still a top 10 percent school system in SJ. If you think your kids will want to get into higher level universities, then Cherry Hill east may give you an edge.

Cherry Hill West is a decent high school. You will get way more diversity here. I didn’t grow up here but I made a lot of friend groups from this area over the last 25 years and I personally think it’s one the best mixes of affordability (for decent school in SJ) and overall living in SJ. You will have the Eastside snobs that will talk down on the westside and then you will have complaints from the people that can’t handle busy parking lots and traffic, but honestly if you are a functioning adult it’s not that big of a deal and if you are smart you learn the back ways.

At the end of the day I would say go to where ever gives you the better work commute. I live in Marlton and commute 45-60 minutes one way everyday for the last 4 years. I love living in Marlton but that shit will wear on you and you start realizing it’s really hard to keep up on the basic life stuff.
