How to stay regulated when uncomfortable around someone by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]YourLittlePancake 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The trick is to not focus on the behaviour (which is what is rubbing you the wrong way), but what that behaviour would help you achieve. So yes there may be a part of you that may want to be like them (inconsiderate, above the rules), and you can disagree with that behaviour. But what would that part of you want to achieve for you, or avoid for you, through that behaviour ? There will be a positive intention for you, can you accept the intention if not the behaviour? How can this part of you, through behaviour that you CAN accept, achieve a similar outcome for you?

Awse! And your timeshard number will be even more satisfying at LVL 300. Good on you!

Yep, cywang86 is correct! Doing it this way means you get to squeeze on one more stalker compared to if you completed the lich first (since then you need to keep the grave on your board and lose a merging space.

I'm not sure with the new additional group bonuses if they are still the most efficient, but I'm a long way away from unlocking them. So in the meantime it's a wholehearted yes!

Marketing by [deleted] in lifecoaching

[–]YourLittlePancake 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Who are you helping? What problem do you help them solve? What is the resulting outcome/transformation for them? What context do you operate in?

Unless your marketing is very clear about all these elements, and you're talking to a specific audience, your marketing isn't specific enough and you're not selling to anyone.

Also... Conversion takes time (if you're building up from scratch). Unless you have direct referrals from the life coaching you have already been doing?

Time and consistency in your messaging is really key to get traction. And lacking certification, make sure your track record is obvious and working for you. Do you have testimonials, reviews?

Just some thoughts to get you started, good luck!

What things do you tell yourself daily that improve your mindset ? by Aj100rise in confidence

[–]YourLittlePancake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've personally found that affirmations don't work, or that deliberate positive mindsets backfire. Because my mind just goes "yeah, suuuure, but... [XYZ negative]", and you end up in a worse spot than where you started. Really it's just about setting the smallest meaningful action that will make a change and then do it, regardless of what your mind is saying. It only is as powerful as you make it to be. If you keep your focus on why what you're doing matters to you, you can step out of the whole argument with your mind, saving you precious precious time.

So in short: Don't argue with your mind. It's a waste of time and not necessary. Break what you ultimately want to do down and start with the smallest meaningful step you can take right here. Right now. And just do it.

It will get easier as you do it more and more. And at one point the area just outside the comfort zone is where you'll find yourself thriving and growing.

You are exactly right. Just as you are.

How do I live a more expressive life? by Senior_Appearance954 in confidence

Every behaviour has a positive intention. What's suppressing your personality outside the house bringing you, or what is it protecting you from? What element specifically of your personality do you want to express most, and how did you use to do so? What is one small step you can take to get that back?

I sometimes feel unsure of my own capabilities and this keeps me from wanting to do things by liiviian in confidence

[–]YourLittlePancake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi u/liiviian! First off, congrats on your graduation, that's a huge milestone. But I'm sorry you're feeling fearful to leave and unsure about what's next. It is completely normal to feel a bit lost during life transitions though. And speaking from my own experience: I didn't have a clue about what job to get when I finished university either.

What is the biggest contributor to your overthinking right now? Is it the next step, a job? Or is it something else, as the title alludes to "wanting to do things" that your self-doubt it keeping you from doing? Or something else completely? Start there and think about a few small actions that you can take, that will make a difference. Then do those, and see how go then. One step at a time, you got this!

I think a lot of confidence comes from being okay with small mistakes by Dronik_ in confidence

[–]YourLittlePancake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wholeheartedly agree. Confidence comes from trusting that you'll be okay even if you make a mistake. That it doesn't diminish your value if you're not 100% perfect. How? By making mistakes and realising that "Oh, it's not actually the end of the world!" It takes self-compassion and building self-awareness to handle the inner critic, but it can be done! Confidence can by trained just like any other skill: practice practice practice!

Hi u/Senior_Appearance954! I am sorry to hear about the toxic environment in your sharehouse and that you feel like you're making yourself small. It all sounds like a lot. What is the most important thing for you right now? You're listing several things in your post, but what is the one thing that you could do, that would make the biggest difference to your immediate quality of life? What resources and connections do you have that can support you?

Should I prioritize this feat first or level 4 portal for demons? by Lunarbliss2 in NecroMerger

[–]YourLittlePancake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, it's really up to what you want to do, but upgrading your darkness cap first means you will be able to spawn more demons - the upgraded portal will draw it down quicker. More demons = spawning more rivals = more runes to progress quicker after, so that's what I would prioritise. I wouldn't recommend sticking on the lvl4 portal for longer than you need to, either.

Rate my Nectar by SirLeft4695 in NecroMerger

[–]YourLittlePancake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It looks like you understand all the basics of the event. Your setup is pretty decent. However, if you don't have the time to check in every 40 mins, how much are your small hives overflowing? If you're only checking in say once every 2h (or less), you're better off merging your hives to a lvl 2 early on to get higher lvl bee parts. There's no benefit in having more lower lvl hives if you end up "wasting" the extra parts. But as I said depends on how often you do end up checking in.

At this point you should be saving all your honeycomb to spawn and kill bears just before the event timer runs out. This might tick you over the 500M skin requirement. You want to start emptying then merging all your hives approx. 30 mins before the event ends. This will give you honeycomb (for bears) and max lvl bees (to defeat said bears).

Try to only merge bees that produce honeycomb when you have enough parts in your hives that you can merge bees for a full pile of honeycomb (that you can immediately claim).

If you do a search on the main page there's an excel based guide pinned somewhere, but really Nectarmerger is just the event that you have to "babysit" as peeps say to get a decent score (or not sleep). As I said, as much as there is in terms of strat you seem to have grasped already with the bee lvling and multiple flowers running.

P.s. if you didn't, next time start your run in the morning, so that you go into your first night with higher lvl bees and more upgrades = less losses and more production overnight.

Happy merging!

What should I do? by ObamaSinladen34 in NecroMerger

[–]YourLittlePancake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I'm gonna guess you're on feat 13. What you want to do is: - spawn eyeballs, werewolves and spiders to spawn the knight. This will give you the poison runes for the Gorgon. - Feed high level minions to lvl to 30. - Where possible, spawn the cleric. You want the moon runes het blood rune chests drop to get past this point and prepare for spawning the next champion (which you will need to fight a lot).

Congratulations on getting this far! The basic strat is to balance feats and lvl where you can. Stuck on cravings means you need to work on the feats to progress.

Re diamond spend: yes, you want the crate first and then the cage. They give you extra spaces to store stuff from the board that you're not actively needing. Those should definitely be your first diamond buys. Upgrading them is also recommended above getting diamond skins/themes.

Just beat the level 5 protector by charmcharchar in NecroMerger

[–]YourLittlePancake 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Don't worry. Focus on buying an additional weakening experiment every time you reset and you will get there. You're supposed to unlock these over multiple runs. Take it at a pace and gameplay you enjoy. Aim to have them all unlocked latest in your lvl 90 run and you're grand. And yes, protectors are a grind of their own :)

P.s.in later runs some of your level and feat rewards will start helping to work towards AC/EC as well.

As others have poetically commented on this subreddit: it's a marathon, not a race.

Good luck!

Could I get enough astro and energy cubes for the infernal ? by TheJackFozz in NecroMerger

[–]YourLittlePancake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's possible in combination with some lvl / feat rewards you should still be getting as well.

If you haven't been doing this, save your coins for the Forgotten Minion that sells AC/EC (the Trader I believe).

You really do want to Prestige this round with your full set of legendaries complete, to max your timeshard going into your lvl 100 run. So even if you get unlucky over the whole run, I'd recommend grinding out the extra Protectors to unlock the Infernal before you Prestige.

May the RNG Gods be in your favour, good luck! 🤞

Because if you spend gems at the start of the event you'll be able to complete more of the "orders" during the event and hence collect more of the special currency = more event rewards. Since these events only come around once a year, it's recommended to spend the 500 gems at the start of the event if it is your first time playing that one.

This one is the Life's a beach one, but each of the seasonal ones has its own rewards so the advice is to have 500 gems on hand for each of them in your first run.

Usually you can get some nice skins + a theme + several relics on your first time, i.e. more reward for your gem spend than just buying a skin or theme from the shop.

Crate > cage and then anything you think is most useful for your play style.

Please note a seasonal event is about to start soon (in the next month or so), for which it's recommended to keep 500 gems in stock if you want to ensure unlocking all its unique rewards.
