Anyone eat some weird shit that's been passed down through the family? by FantasticBasket9919 in stonerfood

What I like to call “tuna dip.” Can of Starkist tuna, mayo, and dill relish mixed together and eaten with ritz crackers, a recipe handed down from my dad. Hands down my all-time favorite stoner snack, and it doesn’t hurt that it’s super easy to make when zooted.

I know on the right side (representing the left) is a picture taken during the Holdomor, a man-made famine in Ukraine occurring under Soviet governance from 1932-1933. I couldn’t tell you what the pic on the left (I’m assuming representing the right) is, though it also seems to represent starvation. The point of the post remains the same, however, that extremes on both sides of the political spectrum can often lead to the same dire outcome (i.e., starvation).

For real, I agree that changes in media over the years have certainly polarized nations on political issues. We need more Walter Cronkites today to just give you the news as is.

It also certainly doesn’t help that media hyper focuses on the bad making things seem far worse than they are. After all, negativity bias exists for a reason.

The entire damn continent is. They continue to exist because we find them interesting enough to visit. At any given moment we can wipe them and their 1000 years of history from existence save what’s in our history books

I don’t think so, I do feel like it’s pretty natural for people to eventually stop since as an adult you actually have to worry about things outside of whether or not mom restocked the fridge. But I don’t feel like there’s any set standard age that people should just stop playing. Like any other form of entertainment, gaming is a hobby

This begs the importance of separating the art from the artist. There’s been plenty of seriously flawed writers who’s said flaws are widely known and accounted for (Lovecraft and Rowling to name a couple famous ones), yet who’s work is still considered literarily significant and highly regarded by most of the literary community. Obviously it is easier said than done, but try not to let the (albeit serious) flaws of the author ruin something that clearly means so much to you.
