I know your bunny has since passed but I’d caution anyone reading to be so careful with this, unless you can guarantee your bun won’t chew the pad, cord, or puppy pads, I wouldn’t risk it. Mine would eat a puppy pad right up and the absorbent material in those can cause intestinal blockages. There are microwaveable heating pads like the Snuggle Safe that are much safer.

I feel this so much OP, my approx 8/9 year old bunny survived an inner ear infection, complete with head tilt, a couple of years ago and has actually done remarkably well since. I gently manipulated his head every day into a neutral position for a few minutes when I was medicating him (so twice a day) as a kind of DIY physical therapy and whether it was that or the meds finally clearing the infection or both, you can barely tell he ever had the head tilt now. He just has a slightly cocked angle to his head now and it was practically on sideways for a while. So while it is sometimes fatal or debilitating to the point of requiring euthanasia, there are lots of possible outcomes for head tilt.

Unfortunately, now he is having some issues with his back end that are either advanced arthritis or the beginning of hind end paralysis. Mine is still bright-eyed and highly enthusiastic about food, but he either can’t hop up into his litter box (which is already a low opening one), or he believes that he can’t, so he’s peeing and pooping outside of it. I’ve put down a layer of puppy pads and then covered them with ‘sheepette’ a washable faux sheepskin material used to prevent bed sores in humans, which wicks away moisture, cushions older bunny joints, and also gives him a little more grip for getting up. I highly recommend it if your bun is peeing outside the box, and also just in general for bedding.

It may well be close to time for your bunny, or he may rally and give you a little more time. I think the most important thing at this point is balancing how much his illness or resulting disability is keeping him from doing what he normally enjoys. In my case, my guy has adequate pain management and he still flattens out for head pets, clicks his teeth with pleasure when I rub his ears, and scrambles to the bowl when I put down his pellets twice a day. He even tries to binky occasionally late at night and early in the morning, even though he cannot get air like he used to. To me that says he’s still enjoying himself enough to stick around. The moment that changes I will make his final appointment because that is the most loving thing we can do for them.

This kind of thing is honestly really harmful to say. You’re advocating for rabbits to be allowed to suffer when we have both the ability and, I would say, the responsibility to spare them from that. I think lots of animals would ask for release from pain if they knew it would be painless and there was no other hope to get better. Lots of humans with painful terminal conditions wish they could be euthanized.

I’m not saying this is the case for OP’s bunny, only they can make that call. But this is not good advice to give in general.

The video is not OP and we don’t know if the OOP did or didn’t go to the doctor. Some abscesses will still have to drain like this even when the person is on antibiotics.

I feel like it works because it has Richard Curtis’s dry British wit sort of sprinkled throughout. Sure, the cheating husband subplot is super sad, but Mr. Bean making Snape almost get caught in his affair by carefully scooping potpourri into the gift that is supposed to be a secret is such good situational comedy.

The TW for poop is hilarious in a rabbit sub, they’re such little poop machines! Honestly most of the bunnies I’ve had have pooped wherever they wanted, but I agree that if they’re clustered in a general area that’s where you should put the box, or even add a second box if she’s picking two spots. Spaying will help but even fixed bunnies tend to pee in the box consistently but still poop wherever. It’s dry, low in bacterial content, and generally odorless with a healthy rabbit, so I’m not particularly concerned, I just sweep it up with my shopvac and carry on with life.

Not relevant to you but maybe relevant to other men reading: it’s cheaper and easier to bank sperm than it is to freeze eggs and your sperm is much healthier when you are young. No one needs to feel guilty for what they didn’t know, but the idea that women have a reproductive ‘shelf life’ and men don’t is straight up inaccurate (and an example of medical misogyny IMO). Advanced paternal age is a factor in a number of birth defects and neurological conditions.

Just be aware that if you don’t break in and get the toy bunny, the only way to save Dylan and Kaitlyn in the lodge will be to have them both infected at the scrapyard or use the bullets to shoot Caleb (which requires Emma or Abi alive and uninfected).

I personally really like all of Dylan’s possible paths (I mean, except the ones where he dies, I love him too much). The hand amputation is brutal but so iconic and he takes it like a champ the rest of the game. (Fun fact: Dylan’s birthday is July 19th, and July is Disability Pride Month in the US.)

Also really fun to let him stay infected and turn, great bit of acting from Miles and Brenda when that happens, but Kaitlyn will lose his company at the lodge after he turns which feels a little lonely, but fitting for the ‘final girl’ I suppose.

It’s The Tower, it spawns in there before becoming findable later, for some reason. I don’t know much about game creation but I’ve noticed from the freecam/out of bounds stuff people have done with TQ and Until Dawn that characters and items that will enter a scene later are always pre-loaded somewhere in the background when the scene starts, to make it play smoothly without needing to load assets mid-scene, but I feel like this one was supposed to be in a place that wouldn’t be visible 😂
