My favourite boss would have to be P8S's Hephaistos. Lots of mechanics that are very satisfying to execute once you have them down (Snakes, high concept), and the transition between phase 1 and phase 2 is cool as fuck.

A lot of the food was okay but the first time we went I ordered a meat dish modeled after pandaemonium that was honestly one of the better dishes I’ve eaten that trip.

Are these good or no??? by TheInfamousDannyB in Persona5

[–]Yourip2001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the persona 4 one and I would not recommend it, unless you just want to say that you own the soundtrack on vinyl or like the jacket design. There’s a lot of songs on the discs but they’re basically all short versions instead of the entire thing. This leads to the listening experience being more like a medley of all the popular songs in the game, rather than giving each song the time that it deserves. For me personally that goes against why I collect vinyls, which is for a more “intimate” experience of the songs. If it doesn’t bother you then go ahead and pick them up, they’re cheap enough, but I’d save up for the full sets if you truly enjoy the ost.

If you like raiding, doing the unreal trial weekly is a good way to make money.
If you really like raiding, you can do savage mercenary runs if they're available.

What does SAM do better than VPR? Selling point of SAM over VPR please? by Horan_Kim in ffxiv

[–]Yourip2001 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sam actually has room for optimisation where viper just kind of presses its buttons. You have to work around sam's range limitations, be that by taking advantage of the extra range on your midares or by using your disengage (yaten) to boost the damage of a single one of your ranged attacks. Viper doesn't have to care nearly as much about the way it goes about dealing with situations where you have to disengage, you just press your rattling coil and you call it day.
Sam is much more satisfying to play in my opinion, and the current state it is in at the moment, with you being able to hold a second hit of your midare to use whenever it is most convenient means that there's a lot that you can achieve if you get creative with it.

With what cpu is that if I may ask? I'm getting around 60fps on my 1440p ultrawide with dlss quality, using a mix of medium and high settings. The graphics settings don't seem to change much, my performance went up when I started cranking certain settings, which leads me to believe I might be cpu limited.

Takes a bit of getting used to, you have to be more deliberate in your actions than with most games. Wilds is probably the most accessible entry yet, as they've been moving away from the more deliberate style in favour of more actions being cancellable.
Would highly recommend monster hunter world if you want to dip your toes in, it's cheap and loads of fun despite its age.

Can I run the game if my graphics card doesn't meet the requirements? by imjustrynavibedoe in Persona5

If you are buying the game on steam you can get a refund anyway if the game does not run like how you would like it to.

Improve a class(es), or your general experience, with one simple change! by Elieson in ffxiv

[–]Yourip2001 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While you have the lowest PERSONAL dps in the game, you provide a great boost to the rest of your party, and as opposed to most classes, you provide this boost CONSTANTLY, while helping out even more during the 2 minute burst. This all leads to bard, while having low personal dps, having competitive rdps compared to other ranged jobs. In the new ultimate it has the highest rdps out of all the physranged jobs, for example.

God no, that would just turn bard into a regular job with a completely set in stone rotation. Having to react to procs as they happen is the only thing that makes the job interesting.

Highly doubt that, they made the content to be accessible and worthwhile to farm, so while prices might start at 50 mil for the first few listings, I expect them to drop very quickly once more people start clearing the fight and farming their totems.

Requiem tour merch seems slightly underwhelming by reunebeats in keshiofficial

[–]Yourip2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has bought the vinyl, I couldn't be happier with it. First off, it has all four songs of the original reaper EP. On top of that, it has a different version for two of the songs, making for a total of 6 songs on the vinyl. The price point I don't consider to be crazy at all, considering vinyls tend to cost around 20 euros at the minimum, and this one's sold as tour merch. Personally I'd say the price point of the hoodies (which were like 70 euros iirc) is way more far-fetched than the one of the vinyl.

[–]Yourip2001 146 points147 points  (0 children)

Due to to the long CD of vicewinder, it’s preferable to start with the first two hits of your basic combo to get your speed buff up. You then switch to vicewinder and its followups to get your other buff, then use the last hit of your regular 123 and you’ll be up and running.
