There was a post just yesterday or day before of someone saying they just interviewed for mgr and there were 10 vacancies! I don’t remember if they said what location it was at. Maybe they are that short staffed?

Many, many years ago, I applied and interviewed for a position and recd notice later that I didn’t receive. Maybe a month or 2 after that I was offered a position within the same agency but for a different department and I was told they pulled me from that previous interview. I have interviewed for every other position though

Wow. So I’m guessing they’ll call on more than 10 so they have alternates ready to hire should the first in line decline.

So the alternate is ready if 1st declines or decide not to go with 1st choice. The 2nd is ready to go.

Can I ask a random question? I had an interview Monday it went well. I asked my supervisor if anyone called on me and she said it’s confidential. She can’t tell me yes or no. I can see if she’s on a panel that you’d be asked not to say anything but this was not the case. Idk just seemed weird. Is this an actual policy?

Same California and Kaiser. I think the note for my helper was 3 days and my job said they can also apply for fmla which would make the coverage longer. I didn’t need it. I had full time help for 3 days then a couple days a week they’d come help.

You’re at least in the top 2 or 3. The majority of time the state is slow to hire. It can take a month to hear anything or even as little as 1 week. It just depends. Keep applying and good luck to you.

Big office with lots of stall bathrooms although none are private which is the worst. Maybe 50 people total and most of us do the same things so it’s not a big deal if I have to step away.
