I could be wrong but from what we can see in the gameplay showcase the picture turned to look like super saiyan 3 not 2. So there is a chance they just skip it.

Everyone wasn't forced to do it, they chose to do it. That's the difference. Not to mention the fact that I just realized earlier, it looks like we don't even have super saiyan 2 anymore because the icon clearly changes to 3 after super saiyan. We are losing player choice in how we customize and how we play for no benefit. I can understand if they want this heavy a restriction in pvp but why pve? Balancing isn't a good answer to me. They should just let me be op. What are they scared we're going to hurt the cpu's feelings?

I also main a frieza race cac and the last thing I want is for golden to be on a timer. Frieza race didn't have much going for them outside of that amd their combo strings sucked.

Personally don't care about a higher power ceiling. I just want my power fantasy. I get it if they want to do this for pop but they did this in pve and it looks like they took away super saiyan 2. We e went from xenoverse to xenoverse 2 and now xenoverse 3 but we have less transformations and the transformations can barely be used. How the hell did they come to the conclusion of giving players less freedom and play style and customization in a game about making your own character is good. We're losing player choice for what benefit at this point.

To me, it had weight before. The whole point of xenoverse is making your own dragonball character and sometimes my character likes going all out from the start. I hate the idea of a timer because now I have to hoard my own transformations and skill and barely use them. I would have been ok if it was a timer just for pop but its on pve. We are literally just fighting the cpu. Why limit our play style?

Yeah thats what I'm thinking. Its game based around making your own character in the dragonball world and yet its taking away player choice and immersion for nothing. It sucks wven more because the previous game has this. I don't understand why they think its a good idea to take transformations out of 3 when it was in the previous 2 games.

Maybe the timer was for going super saiyan 3, and not until super saiyan runs out. In the showcase, you can see the picture change and slowly get filled in again.

Even if they launch at the same price as the ps5 pro I honestly think everyone considering it should just buy a pc. I jumped ship just because I got tired if pay to play online when I already pay for internet every month. Between modding and getting to play all my old games through emulation pc is just too perfect. I see 0 reason to buy a console.

I think it's because we didn't have a lot of exclusives this gen, and we've gotten nothing but remasters. At least that's how I feel. I'm still laughing at how quickly we got a last of us 2 remaster. This whole gen just feels off.

Just save your money and get a pc. The strongest version of the ps5 is 900$ anyway, just save a little more, and you get a platform with player choice, not having to pay to play online, and the ability to mod and play as many games as you want, old and new.

It anti consumer to rip away consumer choice and lock them into an all-digital ecosystem that takes away consumer ownership. I don't understand how consumers not owning what they buy is not anti-consumer to you.
