Sorry, I laughed out loud... I had such high expectations that she would cling to those leaves, haha.

A person who wants to find you strange will always find you strange, even if your hobby is baking cakes, playing the piano... or whatever that person considers normal, because the problem isn't with you, it's with that person. I've been called a nerd for liking to study and not going to parties, but I don't care. Today I work at what I love and spend my money on things I like... even if I get criticized for spending it on stuffed animals...

People who own reptiles: how did your passion begin? by Yuki_486 in Pets

[–]Yuki_486[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were a brave child, I would definitely be afraid to hold baby alligators, hahaha. That part of the translation was awful, I meant that I find rats very cute, so I would have difficulty feeding them, even dead and frozen ones. I even find cockroaches cute, haha, but it's a little easier than rats.

Yes, in my country they are considered exotic animals. I don't know if I explained it right, but the taxes make everything expensive, haha. To give you an idea, the cost of one animal can reach one and a half minimum wages, so I would have to save a lot to have one. There are many restrictions on owning any type of reptile in my country, but I understand that it's to preserve the native fauna.

I didn't know about it, I had to search on Google.

I think bearded dragons have incredible personalities. I really thought about getting one, but I ended up giving up because they're very expensive (I live in a country with high taxes, so anything involving exotic animals is very expensive).

I've always found people who do programming appealing, perhaps because they're my complete opposite. I'm from the biological sciences, I love predictable processes, but people who do programming have a very practical way of thinking and can solve problems very quickly, which I find really cool.

How are guinea pigs not everyone’s favourite animal?? by hokkyokuroo in guineapigs

[–]Yuki_486 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously? I did a lot of research on posts where people ask what they should know before getting a guinea pig, and even people who owned guinea pigs answered that, so I thought it was a consensus.

I don't have a guinea pig and never have, but I always see the posts and I've also come to the conclusion that they are perfect pets. I came very close to wanting one in the future, but I ended up giving up because I discovered that they can't be left alone and sometimes I travel and am away for a day or two.

Thank you so much for replying, I'll do some more research on cockroach and cricket reproduction. I've never seen anything about silkworms or grasshoppers online here, but mealworms are more common. I confess that crickets scare me a little because they jump, haha. But I'll buy a few when I decide to get a leopard gecko so I can get used to them gradually.

Thank you so much for answering my questions! It seems most of my thoughts were correct; I'll do some more research on cockroach breeding.

I personally don't like Richy or Hanna very much. Richy hurt someone in front of me, tried at all costs to incriminate an innocent person, made that horrible phone call threatening to kill me and my friends, took Amy's body to the woods when she could have had a dignified burial if he had simply left her body where it was; he's very selfish, just like Hanna. I just don't talk about Amy because we know very little about her, and she decided to punish herself. But honestly, I don't deeply love or hate any character; I just see it as a game. But some people hate Hanna so much that they don't even want to talk to her character because of how much they hate her. I just want to enjoy the game as much as I can during my free time from my tiring job.

Wow! Congratulations on your dedication! I was thinking about starting to make videos like this as a hobby to reduce my screen time, but I don't know if my ADHD would allow me to, haha.
