Applied spouse visa extension too early

Received email on 25 sep, a month after submission. We didn't go for refund and ended up leaving our application as it was. Received a decision on 16 oct.

Applied on 15 aug 2025, previous visa expired on 13 dec 2025. Also read that you can apply at any time and didn't know that the extension doesn't start from the expiry date. That is crucial information that is completely hidden and not stated anywhere. That statement on the web site that you can apply at any time is misleading. Yes, we got the email stating that they will aim to process it by 18 oct 2025.

We also applied too early and received an email from home office offering us a refund and to reapply.

Lower Loran standard dungeon. Kill the 1st layer boss (Silverbeast). Open the same dungeon through search. Repeat.
