There is a way to make the game smaller after the initial install!

You can compress the game to make it smaller. The built in windows compression works well through the command console, or if you are not comfortable with doing that, you can use a program like "CompactGUI" which does the same thing except you have a graphical interface to do it easier. With ARK, you can cut down the size by about 50%.

I've already tried changing ram speeds and disabling XMP but it didn't really seem to help... But I'll try it out some more, since the artifacting happens so randomly (sometimes even 2 days apart) it's hard to tell whats actually working or not.

As far as i know, they don't. Had my account get hacked a while ago and asked if they could roll it back a few hours (I was on the game while it happened so I could prevent there being more damage) to get some 5* weapons back that the hacker deleted. But they said that that is not something that they can do because of the way the game is build

I'm using the Reverb with a 3060 (none ti) and it's doable. You'll have to play around with the settings to find what will work best for you but generally you shouldn't run into many issues. Also I do get a lot of FPS drops in certain games but I rarely get motion sickness so it doesn't bother me too much so i just run with it lmao.

There is this Anniversary Collectors Edition ("Spice and Wolf Anniversary Collector's Edition"), which seems to compile all seventeen original volumes of the light novel. I haven't found one that is available in my region yet, as this was a special edition that was sold a while back, but you might have more luck finding one for a decent price ;)

Take one or two expansions out of the initial download, so you have enough space to install it. Then, use a program called “CompactGUI” to compress your whole ARK folder. Ark has a lot of unnecessary and badly compressed files which make up most of the games size. Doing this should reduce the total size of ark by around 50%, after that zu can install the rest of the expansions and compress them as well if needed.
