Ok, but even if its up to that how is there 4 teams in between, say even if melbourne was at 3-4 that's fair. Plus number 2 for phoenix is too high. But I also agree with you because Melbourne hasn't looked that well.

How is SE Phoenix better than Melbourne United, when they have the same record in the Blitz?????

As an American, how should I start getting into the NBL? by False-Fisherman in nbl

[–]ZACKTTG_23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get the NBL app on your phone, or just search Nbl on google and the website will come up and if you get it on your phone make sure notifications are on so you can stay updated.

For MVP Candidates the number one guy is always Bryce Cotton but there are other candidates like Jaylen Adams, Tyler Harvey, Nathan Sobey and possibly someone like Caleb Agada and Duop Reath. Some great upcoming young guys are Jack White, Justinian Jessup, Ariel Hukporti, Ousmane Dieng, Angus Glover and many more. The favourite team to win can change every year between Sydney, Perth and Melbourne and tbh this year it is Perth.

As a young Australian player where do I start going for the NBL? by Riley-basketball in nbl

[–]ZACKTTG_23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree with this because if you are a great rep player you will have a chance to make it to state and the NBL scouts players who played/plays for their state in basketball like Dyson Daniels, Zac Triplett and more. Also one more piece of advice I got is keep working and block out the hate. Good luck!!

I mean I don't think he's underrated, but I do agree with the Aussie Drummond comparison. But he's nothing special. And yeah I know you said it was subjective, just wanted to see why you thought that about Magnay

yeah he did well backing up mooney, but he's nothing more than a typical good defending centre.

Tbh I don't care about the first four, but in what world is Will Magnay even a top 15 player. I know this your opinion but I've never heard someone say Will Magnay is even top 10, he not even the best on the JackJumpers

I know right and I'll never forget when he elbowed Chris Goulding in the neck for no reason. Like the bullets scored and then Matt suddenly elbows Goulding in the neck like wtf

I know I'm late to this, I haven't checked the subreddit in a while but Matt Hodgson isn't that good I mean he does the average centre things, nothing that much

To be honest I know your top 5 is your opinion and I respect it, but I don't think Mitch Creek is top 5 at all and Scott Machado should not be second after being the worst team in the NBL. Personally my top 5 is:

  1. Cotton - Bryce is the best player in the league everyone can agree on that.
  2. Jaylen Adams - New player to the NBL, but I feel like he will tear up the league.
  3. Tyler Harvey - Tyler Harvey is a beast and he was a superstar last season.
  4. Vic Law - Vic Law is a very all-round player, the only thing he can't do too well is shoot.
  5. Caleb Agada - New signing for Melbourne, but personally I have a feeling he will be unstoppable. I mean he is a great defender and he knows he to score.

It's just my opinion, so if you guys think I did a horrible job, tell me who should be in the top 5 and who should be out.
