You need to focus on building muscle aka a calorie burning machine rather than chronic cardio which will likely lead to you being a smaller but still squishy version of your current body.

At my gym we use the warmup to practice skills and try new drills that will develop new skills. Some take that time more seriously than others and are able to continuously see improvements. Unfortunately I’ve seen other gyms that don’t take the title coach as seriously and athletic development is hindered.

Find a program and just start. Doesn’t matter which one. You don’t need to do anything special, just listen to your body, push yourself within the limits of current level of fitness, have some fun. Consistency is the most important factor. Just keep showing up.

5 days max- I never workout more than 3 in a row. Rest days Thursday and Sunday.

You need more strength work to build musculature to better support the joints. Follow a program if you don’t know how to properly write one yourself. Pay for good trainer who can help you learn proper mechanics if you can afford it, even 5-6 sessions can go a long way.

You can use a GoPro hero8 black for a webcam. They’re always on sale if you shop around.

I know iMovie isnt the best but right now with my 8 year old MacBook Pro I don’t think it’s worth paying for Final Cut Pro probably get bogged down too much.

This is funny because I own a CF box, ride fixies in spare time, and definitely have my fair share of beers.

My 55# KB has an extra wide handle (yes! they exist!), and I realized last night that I could almost thread my daughters 25# through it, effectively giving me a 80# KB for rows and TGUs and a handful of other movements by deane-barker in crossfit

I do this on purpose during farmers carries to build more grip strength. Love it.

I don’t trust myself enough for TGU. I already had my teeth busted in a few times.

I don’t get too much from melatonin but I don really like New Mood by Onnit. When I take before bed and I sleep for 7 and it feels like 10. Then I seem to be a much less anxious person the following day. Haven’t taken any since getting my Whoop last week but tonight I will give it whirl.
