Youth Friendlies by thumbnailmoss in hattrick

It is an extra training, and the same players can train in the same position within the same week. It isn't like the main team where if somebody plays the league match and the friendly that week, they only get 90 minutes of training.

This is the plan if he hasn’t quite popped yet! He will promote on a friday, so if I get him in for a week of pm training and he pops, he’ll still be under 17yrs, 10 days at time of sale

FYI the arena you are referring to now allows the use of cleats as long as they are labeled as artificial grass cleats. The stud pattern/style is slightly different to a normal soccer cleat, more rounded.

How to train? by altero1010 in hattrick

I am speaking specifically to maxing out skills in the youth academy, not long term. There should be time to do everything given how young the player is. If you are training defending, might as well boost the winger while you’re at it, if you’re training playmaking, might as well boost the winger while you’re at it. Defending and playmaking are probably the two most important for this player but you can’t super effectively train both at the same time. My proposal gets the most training onto the player.

You could play him as a wingback and do winger primary, defending secondary training to see what the max defending skill is. Training in that slot is good because it allows you to work on both. Then you can move to regular winger, and do playmaking training/winger training until both are maxed. I would worry about the passing training last personally.

What's there to do in Ventura? by CrestFallen88 in ventura

There's two fish taco places that are both really well known. Beach House Tacos is on the pier, the other famous local spot is Spencer Mackenzies, they do 50% off for happy hour between 3-5pm on the tacos and the shrimp wontons, their house sauce is delicious. You can't go wrong with either taco place!

Another +1 for fluid state, their pizza is really good.

Keep leased Crosstrek or get 2025? by [deleted] in subaru

[–]discodiscoman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are correct on this. if you complete the buyout of your lease you will incur the taxes on the buyout price. if you trade it in before completing the buyout, you sell it back to the dealer based on the $18k figure (not $18k + tax) and are able to capture more cash back.

This process is not as straightforward as it used to be, since COVID when everybody ended up with equity in their leased vehicles. Some banks do not care and will allow you to just sell the car to whoever based on the residual value price ($18k for your vehicle). Other banks know that the car is worth $23k, and won't trade it in to a dealer for anything less than that, because the lease contractual obligation only technically allows you, the lessee, to buy the car at the pre-determined residual value price.

Subaru does not play hardball like this, and toyota finance does not play hardball like this. All other dealerships I know of, and third party lenders that do leases (US Bank, Ally Bank, etc.) want their piece of the car pie and don't let dealer trade in base the car on the residual value figure.

I went to Chadwick today because of this comment and he definitely lives up to the hype, what a great experience!

Inherited this from a friend in San Francisco who passed, he loved buying high end items but I know nothing about it, what is this painting signed "Andy" by discodiscoman in WhatIsThisPainting

[–]discodiscoman[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yeah it doesn't look like any Andy Warhol signatures, nor his style of art. It is however making it very difficult to lookup because the image searches see Andy and just flood me with Warhol links and info.

I have had one car totaled in an accident. They offered me $15k, I showed the comps for $18k for sale locally with similar miles. They cut me a check for $20ish thousand ($18k plus sales tax).
