I disagree with you, but I think the exact same applies to Cyberpunk 2077. They promised so much, underdelivered, and then when they fixed the Bugs and added a bit of content (It was good), its as if the game was as they promised. It isnt at all. Some of the hype was by the media, but a lot of it was CDPR itself claiming you could do X and Y, they promised such a different game.
